i just really wish they would talk to us that they taught and discipled. I understand people have freedom to do as they feel they are led by God, but there are so many young people here full of questions and hurting. Please give me verses that say Christians shouldn't communicate with one another when there is a problem. Honestly I need verses, if I see them I will never post again. thank you. Is it sin to have legitimate questions about public acts? I understand the elders are trying to control and fix or whatever they call it, but if these things arent' true why don't you who were my teachers speak out here? please answer our questions. there are lost coins in the house of the Lord, and heretical *sp ck* teaching happening now.

Why isn't this addressed from the pulpit to the people who sat and heard these and believed them to be true? Why won't someone step up and please no fear tactics, I have been thru that for years here. Reaching out to be a friend and fellowship with pastors is not sin, but so often some of us feel that we have been off because pastors don't fellowship with us.

It's very confusing when you try to ask Biblical questions and are treated like a fool. I have had it happen to me and have seen in happen to others. Right now because I took a stand and used my name and spoke up many have marked me. It has taken 8 months flat on my back alone with God to realize His love and mercy for me.

I know I am responsible for my thinking but I alwsys felt that unless I was approved by the upper elite in the church I was not appoved of God.

Now I realize that is warped thinking and my own fault. But still there are young people, Bible college students baffled and asking me questions about why certain leaders and teachers left.

I have no answers for them outside of just being still and waiting on God to give them direction.

It is so sad that there was an ovation for Friday nite's message. It just shows how many are either deceived or fearful of being unaccepted if they don't join the herd.

btw...the major difference between the 4 gospel versions (if you want to call them that) and the many versions of the story we see here is that there are no contradictions to the 4 gospel accounts and quite a few here.

The accounts are not a threat to me at all.

First sane thing I've read from a current congregate! However, how do you justify the duplicity and lack of accountability on the part of Stevens et al? Also, why would you continue to serve under a man and his son who is a known substance abuser and adulterer?
I know forgiveness is vital, but consider the man's track record...he's been run out of EVERY town he ever had a ministry in!

63 Reflected Light is a precious believer who got mesmerized when she came from an affiliate church. She is a friend of mine and has come to visit me in the nursing home. She introduced me to LJ and I started reading her posts. She is so brainwashed that she thinks no other Christians "get it". But please pray for her to get free. She really is very precious. She is like a daughter and I have watched her changed since she came to Bible college a few years ago. She doesn't know I have left GG because I don't know how or what to say to her. I have a similar situation with another young girl who is like a daughter to me. I am at a loss of words when I hear how ingrained they are. It is so very sad.

I went to Reflected Light's livejournal last night. It broke my heart, I spent a long time in prayer and found myself strategizing how to get her out. Then I saw you Nancy, you have been communicating with her all along and that was my answer. God puts us in the path of His loved ones. Nancy, you are spirit-filled woman of God and He is, and will, use you in the believer's lives around you. I know that God has used you in Pastor Guy Duff's life and he will use you in your missionary friend's life as well. And of course, Reflected Light also. I know it seems an impossible task but He will press on what to say and when to say it. Nancy, you already hear the still small voice very clearly because you have leaned on Him through all your suffering. In spite of being GG, where many loose the ability to hear the true Shepherd's voice and act on it, you never did! He is going your strong individual walk for others in GG. I confirmed this from their own son who told me that his parents are both living together and that they are not getting a divorce or any kind of separation or anything of that matter. This is just another example of how people on this website spread gossip, rumors and lies. I'm here to expose the LIARS that are "supposedly" trying to expose the other Liars. One word comes to mind and it begins with a D... hmmm.. Democrat...... maybe!!!

Every message that I receive is taken with a grain of salt. I have seen it posted on here before that we are to receive the Word and then it is our job to Study and show ourselves approved before God, which means that take what we heard and compare it to the Scriptures.
I have not seen the duplicity or non-accountability that you claim firsthand. The only thing that I have heard is all heresay. I realize there are issues within the Body and the leadership. I'm not discrediting some of the people who have been hurt from here or the things that may or may not have happened, but I do think that if Pastor was seriously "Off" with God and with Doctrine, then there would be chastisement. Its not my job to make that determination or that judgement call. I let the chips fall where they may as they say.
Just wondering, but how long ago "were" you a member?? I would be happy to communicate with you if you desire.
If the Lord allows it, and by His Grace alone, I will continue to serve Jesus and continue to bring people to Him. Didn't Christ command us to build "HIS" Church?? Not the church, meaning any church in America. Its the believers determination as to what church the Holy Spirit would lead them to.

I’ve spent a lot of time reading Reflected Light’s net journal. She is a gifted and artistic person and loves the Lord and other people. She seems to be a sincere believer. Her comments on the GG meetings don’t emphasize the speakers’ personalities but the issues preached about, which I think is healthy.

Her testimony brings back memories of my own Bible school time many, many years ago. I was very busy working and studying and doing outreach and I considered it the best time of my life. Why? Because I was so secure and confident that I was doing the right thing. Studying the Bible all the time was very edifying. I had a lot of like minded friends. I had no access to TV and its bad news and I had absolutely no extra time. I was mostly happy, although because of young age my emotions were sometimes up and down. And I was tired, like Rita often seems to be.

After that the situation often changes. The young mothers for example get depressed because they can’t participate in all the programs everybody is urged to. They need kind of “exit counseling” because they have to reduce the time in the “ministry” so radically. They are for example told time and time again that "to take care of your child is as valuable as soulwinning". But nobody believes that, because the message from the pulpit is contradicting it.
