How to destroy this forum

Hey Folks,

If you really want to get rid of this board you can do it with a bot.

Go do a search on google and read about a bot that can post to forums.

I think now that is a good time we do such a thing.

It could be done in a few days and render this such a mess nobody would want to go through the crap.

I am sick of people attacking other people. It gets old. No matter how bad CHS may be, it seems those hurt or worse than him in a million ways.

Well, people have lost 5, 10, 20 and more years of their lives in a cult, they've lost their money, they were deceived, they perhaps have lost their spouse and/or family in GGWO/TBS -- what you expect? .... of course, they are hurt and they have every right to express their anger and pain which is very healthy. And they have a right to warn others about this dangerous cultic behavior of CHS and GGWO / TBS.

There are thousands and thousands of victims and the whole process has been going on for over 35 years.

And yes, this people brought their pain and concerns to God in prayer, many times for many years and they've never ever said anything ... and they waited patiently until God provided a way of escape. Of course, every victim was probably hoping not for an escape from GGWO initially, but instead that they would get corrected themselves somehow and see the "truth" and receive spiritual healing. But more devastation came along, and finally God provided the way of escape out of GGWO.
You can't see it when you're inside GGWO, especially if you have sentimental attachments and relationships, which is normal. But most GGWO members are deceived in thinking that GGWO is the "only" true church in the world and if they would leave GGWO they can no longer be sure of their salvation and they would lose everything.

The problem is that the leadership, CHS, who may have ment well in the very early days many decades ago, has now been deceived for a long time himself, and he might be as sincere as it gets, but deception is a subtle process and it happens over time, because of certain normal human needs and desire we all have deep inside of us. And in the case of CHS he never had checks and balances when he began the movement and as he was congratulated by more and more crowds he really thought that he was a "chosen" one from God with "new" truths, revelations and illuminations to restore/revive the church of Jesus Christ.

The problem is, the testimony of almost all cult leaders is the same.

And early successes in life do go to the head of people and we call them novice-trades. And as you have these successes as a leader you think you're untouchable and you're doing apparently something right and that's how it goes on and on. Of course you have to keep on the cutting edge and then you search for "new" stuff to be above the other preachers in a sense to keep it "fresh" as they say in GGWO. It's a long road and once deception has taking its roots, it just goes on and on and spreads like wild fire, and even if you realize it later that something wasn't right, it's too late because you've already shared the "new" wisdom from "above" with your congregation.

And to keep folks in the group, you just begin to add a little doctrine here and there and you end up with a cult like GGWO all in the name of New Testament Christianity. There are plenty of posts on this Website that explain various details of GGWO and this FactNet is a great forum and it helps a lot of people and that's why it's here for.

Don't forget that even right now there are many, many hundreds of GGWO folks in Baltimore who feel the same like some of the victims that have already departed. Why do you think that so many key GGWO people -- pillars of the church -- have left of the last few years and especially recently, because the light bulb finally went on. They now trust God for their decisions, but in most cases they didn't make a hasty decision to leave GGWO, but instead they've spent years in prayer and rechecked everything and gave it a chance over and over again. So they've made a very painful but very thought-through decision to leave GGWO. And most of them will probably never talk about GGWO again -- they are scarred for life, though.

I hope that nobody will go after those who have tried to do something good here.

Maybe by the end of the day some folks will have a change of heart in the way they speak about people.

BTW frankly the way this board is setup it would not take a bot to do anything of real damage.

I say that was done weeks ago by others making comments that were sop mean in spirit.

Technically I think of more interesting ways of making this a better situation for all.

But I would not be surprised if somebody goes and does something similar to using a bot here.

See a few hours ago (don't know when I been go since early this afternoon) something changed.

Nobody wanted this to become a moderated board.

Well it is. Pretty mcuh like I would want but much of the nonsense can still happen. I refuse to feed some trolls ( who came up with that name)information but they could destroy this site pretty easy.

BUT the Factnet folks took some steps to moderate this site.

Still don't want to be part of a moderated site? Well if you post here you are. This is a moderated site now.

I can promise you that if trolls figure out what most IT/IS people know this site could experince the same thing it did in the last 24 hours.

Be considerate of the admins at Factnet guys or you can expect them to ask you to do business in another place, or the moderating here will become heavy handed for the rest of the folks here.

I don't blame any admin for taking the steps they did today.

If factnet.org has become a moderated board, I have no objections because I trust this site and whoever is running it. What I do not want is anyone from the GGWO/TBS to be involved in the task.

I'm going to send them a donation. This is an excellent site and has many wonderful aspects other than this board. I love it. If the discussion ended today, I would still visit it for the many resources it offers.

If it is being monitored, that's wonderful because it won't be sabotaged so easily.

I really don't see how anyone's position has changed in the last 48 hours. This board and the posts contained therein have always been here at the pleasure of FACTnet. Moderation on that level has always be present or possible.

FACTnet looking out for its legal and organizational interests is still relatively objective regarding the substance of the posts found here.

I think the need to start enabling people to post here who feel led to do so is a good idea. I will make people can say things without ever worrying about being threatened or spoken in the manner people have about me.

The ramifications for what RJ said about me will be simple I will make it so others can say the same thing without others jumping on them, or them being kept from this site or posting.

I would imagine that type of free speech will not set well those who agree with your points or with the idea that only anti GGWO's should come here and post.

I will post the names of some applications later I suggest people learn how to use so that they don't have to worry about being found out. Everybody should feel safe here.
