For he who speaks in a tongue [prays in spirit] does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1John 5:10-14 “ Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask [pray- in agreement], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am in the midst of them.” Matt. 18:18-20. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. 1John 5:15

But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”, do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
