My beleif is that the Parable of the Fig Tree that Jesus told us to learn (referencing Jerimiah 24)
was planted in 1948 when the nation of Israel(really Judah) was formed overnight. We are in the last generation.

Yeah,I believe this is the generation that Christ spoke of when He answered the question,"when shall these things come to pass," and He sais THIS ( meaning the generation that would be alive at that time) generation shall not pass away till all these things be fullfilled.

The angel said to Daniel."seal up the book until the time of the end,men shall travel to and fro and knowledge shall be increased."

Look at how the way we travel has been increased and knowledge has increased exponentially.
The ability to understand the book of Daniel is now present in this age which shows that it has been unsealed.(concerning understanding it)

The desert shall blossom like a rose.
Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
Prophecy fullfilled.Israel grows most of the fruit and vegetables in the middle east.

Jews came from Russia by the thousands in just recent years as well as many other countries including just recently Africa.
Jeremiah 23:7-8 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

They retook the holy city Jerusalem.
They became a burden to the nations as it was Prophecied in Zechariah 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Most nations hate Israel.The United nations have made declarations against Israel on a consistant basis.Even though the arab states have consented to destroy Israel as a nation.
Psalms 83:5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee.

Last generation? You bet it is.
The nations of the world are wondering what's next? While the sea is raging on the shores.
Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.

Sun bursts are at an all time high.New stars are being discovered.
Must I mention the altering of DNA and the possible consequences of that?

Yes,the fig tree has blossomed.

Mt 24:14 And this good news of the kingdom will be given through all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come.
this my friends is the sign of the end. a clear witness of god's people of the power of the gospel. a people that have given up all for christ. a clear demonstration of this happened in the first century and it is happenning now. there is a people on the earth right now that are showing a love and unity that christianity will never match. they are all over the world {in 9 countries thus far} and growing in the love and power of the holy spirit. soon it will become evident to all.
