My beleif is that the Parable of the Fig Tree that Jesus told us to learn (referencing Jerimiah 24)
was planted in 1948 when the nation of Israel(really Judah) was formed overnight. We are in the last generation.

Any comments?

I think the fig tree symbolises the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

That's the beginning of it

The planting-where the growth begins -is Jer 24 (in my opinion)Israel becomming a nation

57 years and counting

Since this marks the last generaton...it's geting pretty old. Are you ready?

Peace

israel has not received the land that was promised to abraham. in fact they just gave up more of it. i think that the promise will occur when jesus comes back not before. there must be a demonstration of a people that are clearly doing god's will. christianity has been around for 2000yrs and still hasn't succeded in bringing jesus back. the first century church did well for 2 generations but failed. there lampstand (the holy spirit) was removed. christianity has since been nothing more than a form af religion but denying it's power. namely the holy spirit.

This post is something to give a second thought. While I do believe in a second coming of Christ - the impersonal and universal second person of God, the individual soul of Jesus could only come back if he reincarnated again -and this is possible. Considering the new creation of the state Israel, there is a great chance he would be drawn to this place again in this lifetime. If God wills, of course. But, even if he did come back again, because he would be in another body, hardly anyone would recognize him, only those with strong karmatic bonds with this Great soul. One would have to be spiritualy advanced enough to recognized him and few are they.
