If you actually met Jesus face to face in the flesh - I mean a real live meeting man to man - and you were allowed to ask just ONE question (a question that has always puzzled you about Truth / the Way / Spirituality / etc.) what would that question be?

Just like I can't eat just one Lays potato chip, I couldn't ask just one question.

1. Are you as narrow minded as many of your followers here on earth?

2. Is the Bible we have today really your Word/what you want us to know today? There are thousands of sects of "Chrisianity" and myriad interpretations of Scripture. Why does it have to be so hard to figure out exactly what you mean/want from us? What's with all the mumbo jumbo in Revelation? Why can't you just spell it out simply?

3. Are you really the only way to God? What about Jewish people and others who abide by the commandments of loving God and their neighbor but don't come right out and confess "Jesus as Lord/Messiah," will they really be cast into hell for all eternity?

I really do not know if more than one Master is here at present (or at any other time). Only God can decide on that. As long as we find ONE, and are initiated into the Truth, and then follow that Truth, that is what matters.

All silliness aside, I would ask 'Why?'

Then I would leave it to him to see into my soul about what I really mean. To me the question coming straight from the soul would be nearly impossible to put into words. Have you ever felt that way? You sit silently trying to listen to God speak to your soul. Nobody verbally says a thing in utter silence, but you know that God is near. You feel as though Jesus is right next to you hugging you, yet you sense the Holy Spirit inside of you, too. It is a question from the soul that goes deeper than even the heart, straight into your very being.

I don't know how else to describe or if I ever could.

It is nice to hear that you sit silently listening for God. So many people want to talk (i.e. pray in words) to God, instead of listening. There is no point in saying words to God, for He already knows the depths of your heart, and what you think and desire and need. If everyone listened sincerely, with an open heart, they would one day hear Him.

How do you know this is "divine communication" and not a misunderstanding or misinterpretation of something else entirely?

Simply by the amazing and wonderful experience itself, and the results it has on one's mind, and one's Self, and one's whole being and life.

It must be experienced personally to be understood. Do not 'believe' what I say, but seek, find, and KNOW what I say is true.
