i'm sick and tired of hearing
things
from uptight-short sighted-
narrow minded hypocritics
all i want is the truth
just give me some truth
i've had enough of reading
things
by nuerotic-pyschotic-
pig headed politicians
all i want is the truth
just give me some truth
no short haired-yellow bellied
son of tricky dicky
is gonna mother hubbard
soft soap me
with just a pocketful of hope
money for dope
money for rope
i'm sick to death of seeing
things
from tight lipped-
condescending -mommies little
chauvinists
all i want is the truth
just give me some truth
i've had enough of watching
scenes
of schizophrenic - ego - centric
- paranoic - prima - donnas
all i want is the truth
just give me some truth
give me some truth

what god wants god gets god help us all.
is god in charge?
let us see.
Ec 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
is that true?
Ec 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
god wants birth god wants death.
Ec 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to kill?
what?
a time to heal.
what god wants god gets.
Ec 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
god wants tears
god wants laughter
god wants mourners
god wants dancers.
Ec 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
cast stones?
the monkey sat on a pile of stones
and stared at all of the broken bones.
Ec 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
when is it time to do this?
does anyone know?
god does.
is god in charge?
Ec 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to speak
and a time to keep your mouth shut.
it takes wisdom to know when.
ask god he will tell you.
or not.
Ec 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
god wants war?
god wants hate?
what god wants...
Ec 3:9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
what do we do it all for?
for god of course.
Ec 3:10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
god wants suffering?
Ec 3:11 He hath made everything beautiful in its time: also he hath set eternity in their heart, yet so that man cannot find out the work that God hath done from the beginning even to the end.
he keeps it all a secret?

Ec 3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy good in all his labor, is the gift of God.
Ec 3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor anything taken from it; and God hath done it, that men should fear before him.
Ec 3:15 That which is hath been long ago; and that which is to be hath long ago been: and God seeketh again that which is passed away.
Ec 3:16 And moreover I saw under the sun, in the place of justice, that wickedness was there; and in the place of righteousness, that wickedness was there.
Ec 3:17 I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked; for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.
Ec 3:18 I said in my heart, [It is] because of the sons of men, that God may prove them, and that they may see that they themselves are [but as] beasts.
Ec 3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; and man hath no preeminence above the beasts: for all is vanity.
Ec 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Ec 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man, whether it goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast, whether it goeth downward to the earth?
Ec 3:22 Wherefore I saw that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him [back] to see what shall be after him?
and then...
ashes to ashes dust to dust.
Father McKenzie writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear
No one comes near
Look at him working, darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there
What does he care?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby died in the church and was buried along with her name
Nobody came
Father McKenzie wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave
No one was saved
All the lonely people (Ah, look at all the lonely people)
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people (Ah, look at all the lonely people)
Where do they all belong?

it is jerusalem that i desire,
it is a desire that cannot be quenched.
i have searched for the place of peace and all i find is heartache and misery.
why?
i search for comfort and i find a cross.
i can find nothing else so i climb up on the cross.
what do i have to lose,
it can't be worse than all that i find around me.
i will give myself fully to the suffering.
"come down from that cross" i here my friends say.
"we are going to search for jerusalem again.
come with us".
"this is the place of peace" i say.
"you are a fool
jerusalem is this way.
come with us".
"how can you find peace while hanging on a cross"?
"it is only death that you will find hanging there".
"it is worth a try" i say.
"how can it be worse than all of the suffering that we find every day"?
"try it with me" i say.
"there is a cross for everyone here".
no one takes my offer so i hang alone.
"come and drink with us" they say.
they offer me some wine mixed with gall.
i refuse.
"i love my cross" i say.
"it fits me well"
"it is here that i will find peace".
they walk away shaking their head.
i hear them cursing and mumbling to themselves,
what man can find peace hanging on a cross?
"he is mad",
"leave him be,
he will see his folly and come with us eventually".
i am alone.
i cry out,
"why has everyone forsaken me lord" ?
i hear no answer.
darkness overtakes me.
there is nothing left to do but give myself to the only friend i have left,
darkness.
suddenly i regain my sight.
light comes flooding in.
"i can see"! i cry out.
"i have found jerusalem"!
i call to my friends.
i want them to know what i have found.
there is no one there to hear.

Truth is what remains when you stop believing in it.

Lu 9:22
saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
Lu 9:23
And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Lu 9:24
For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Lu 9:25
For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit his own self?

Joh 8:37
I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
they are abraham's seed?.
Joh 8:38
I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Joh 8:39
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
Joh 8:40
But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Joh 8:41
Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Joh 8:42
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Joh 8:43
Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
Joh 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
there seems to be a bit of a contradiction here.
Joh 8:45
And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Joh 8:46
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
Joh 8:47
He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Thank you! http://www.factnet.org/discus/clipart/happy.gif Glad to see you are doing well, too. I like your thread here. I'm in school now so haven't been online in a while, but it's good to have some positive action going on over here when I pop in!
I would love to engage in a discussion on where my spiritual quest has evolved in the past year, but don't have time right now. Perhaps in the near future I can get back on here for a bit.
Take care!
