I will post this again.You do not know what you are writing. How is it that a Deficiency in one religion can be rectified by learning other religions.

Here is a challenge for you. Hinduism is not a religion. It is a Socioeconomic political system intermingled with Mythology.What is your explanation? Is this the reason you want your readers to follow Christianity?

SANSKRIT SCRIPTURES written 4000 years ago describe a perfect sacrifice. Who is this?

9 characteristics of the Prajapati Sacrifice are:

1. The Sacrificial animal must be blameless Rgvedic Purusasukta 10:90, 1-15
2. A creeping plant of the forest must be weaved and put on its head.(Vedic rituals)
3. It should be closely tied up to the sacrificial pillar(Sayanacarya's Commentary on
Purusasukta. Rgveda 10:90:1-15)
4. Its four legs must be nailed and blood should be shed (Vedic Rituals)
5. The cloth which covers the animal should be shared by 4 priests
6. Its bones should not be broken
7. It should be given some wine
8. After the sacrifice, irt should be returned to life (Rgveda 10:90; 1-15)
9. Its meat should be eaten(Sathapathabrahmana 5.1.1.2)

According to the Vedas, Prajapati means the Supreme God. Prajapati Sacrifice means the Sacrifice of God himself. Out of all those 330 million gods, who is this?

I was reading this post and was struck by the fact that only one person wants man to believe that all paths lead to god. Because if you fall for this fable you are ready for the Great Deceiver to lead you into the region he is headed for.

Which creates the need for those that do not believe the bible is the word of god to ask other questions. Do I need redemptions? Redemption from what? How does one have a personal relationship with someone who is not alive?

Of course your questions are most likely rhetorical, but they have answers. Yes, you, like all of us need redemption. You are in need of redemption for sin, because the wages of sin is death, and someone had to pay that price to redeem you so you didn't have to pay it. The essense of Christianity, at least, is not faith in the death of Jesus and His bearing our sins, but having faith in the ressurection. Jesus is alive.

But you know all of that well already, of course, and have your own opinions as to the validity of the Christian faith. Without some level of faith in a God you can not see, these simplistic answers I present only pose more questions. I won't question you're humility or ability to excersise faith, because you seem like a fair minded person usually and sometimes I almost get the sense you'ld actually like to get a good answer for some of the legitimate questions.

I'll just say that Jesus said no one comes to the Father unless He draws them, and somewhere in this mix of faith and debating and trying to convince, is the sometimes unfathomable sovreignty of God in these things. I guess I believe there has to be some measure of God revealing that these things are true because it's hard to logically prove faith oriented aspects of Christianity. Probably impossible.

We are told in scripture that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Heb 11:1.

So it is faith that brings light into our lives so that we can see.

May the Lord draw you who do not yet have that faith.
