Dear Factnet Registered User,
Here’s Why All FACTnet Discussion Forums Are Free Once Again
In January of 2008 FACTNet was forced to begin the Pay-to-Post subscription system for our 14,000 registered users in our very popular discussion forums to help us meet our critical security, mission and other organizational funding needs. It was a successful program in one way and, it has kept us solvent during these tough economic times, but in another way, it has been less than optimal.
It has reduced by too much both the number of FACTnet discussion forum posters and our web traffic! So, we have decided to do an experiment that we believe will fix this problem and move FACTnet’s discussion forums to all time high usage levels. Here’s what we are going to do.
For the foreseeable future all FACTnet discussion forum postings will be free and without any of the previous subscription fees! The reason for this change is that we want to do an experiment to help us achieve our mission funding goals and increase service in a new way. But, this time we will try to fund our mission using the new Google Ads program that we have recently added to the FACTnet website.
What 2 Simple Things You Can Do to Help Keep the FACTnet Discussion Forums Free Forever!
1.) On your next visit to the FACTnet website just click the Google ads on the FACTnet website relevant to your interests. That’s It!!!!!!!!!!
2.) And, email your friends that FACTnet’s discussion forum posting is free once again.
The Future of Free Discussion Forums at Factnet
With our now more of our over 16,000 registered users returning more regularly to our now free discussion forums both our web traffic and our Google Ads clicks will go up so high that we can fund our mission solely from the commissions that the Google Ads program pays us.
This should allow us to either drop the discussion forum pay to post subscriptions completely and for good or, greatly reduce the pay to post subscription costs to such a low level so that literally no one is unable to subscribe and help support our worthy and difficult mission in that way.
We hope that after you receive this “come on back” notification you will visit, catch up on what’s new and even begin posting again. There have been many new breaking news stories in our new news blog. We also hope that you will click the appropriate Google Ads on our website that truly interest you.
