CFCMI now has a new website and name. They are now simply "Christian Fellowship". The entries there are quite amusing knowing what they are really about. Any innocent might think they are innocous--beware.
They were working on this new site all summer. It is now complete. So if you type in www.cfcmi.org (http://www.cfcmi.org) it redirects you to: www.mychristianfellowship.org (http://www.mychristianfellowship.org) .
I don't care how many times they change their name or how many cute picture they post.
They are still a cult!!! If you run into one of them run quickly in the opposite direction!!

I saw this one in its planning stages back in June. Nice try guys, but you are still a bad example of a church, and L.R.'s legacy still stinks.

It's interesting how they are trying to legitimatize themselves by launching "outreach" projects. It's dangerous for the unsuspecting citizens of Norfolk-- many of whom are unaware of CFCMI's perversions and ongoing financial exploitations.
CFCMI is NOT a Christian Church.

Check out their re-cycled "Hope for Haiti" venture ....
Nice try by using OLD PICTURES to generate FUNDING for a non-existent program.
How lame.

Aspects of Cults:
Members honor an all-powerful "leader" who they believe to be the "God-Called Bearer of Truth". [Check.]
Rational thought or "questioning authority" is discouraged or forbidden. [Check.]
The cult's recruitment techniques are often deceptive. [Check.]
The cult weakens the follower psychologically by making him or her depend upon the group to solve his or her problems or fulfill needs. [Check.]
Cults restrict sleep and food to new recruits. [Check]
The cults manipulate guilt to their advantage. [Check.]
The cult leader makes all the career and life decision of the members. [Check.]
Cults exist only for their own material survival and make false promises to work to "improve society" or educate non-believers. [Check.]
Cults threaten those that leave with disease, accidents, Hell or death. [Check.]
Cult members often work fulltime for the group for little or no pay. [Check.]
Cult members are isolated from the outside world and any reality testing it could provide. [Check.]
Cults are anti-woman, anti-child, and anti-family. [Check.]
Cults are apocalyptic and believe themselves to be the remnant who will survive the soon-approaching end of the world. [Check.]
Many cults follow an "ends justify the means" philosophy. [Check.]
Cults, particularly in regard to their finances, are shrouded in secrecy. [Check.]
There is frequently an aura of (or potential for) violence around cults. [Check.]
Cults villify those that leave or criticize the group.[Check.]

Well, after reading the latests blurb on the Pillars website, it appears Washington state's fellowship is now done. Todd Morgan is officially in Norfolk; apparently Josh Knights and Ken Wood were left behind as disposable assets. Ken would never have been welcome in Norfolk anyway after he stood up to the psycho Lantis.
Rumor has it Hawaii may be next to go away. Kind of odd - didn't Pete and Debbie always take vacations there?
They are reeling everyone in they can, just like Jonestown. Pray a "white night" doesn't follow.

Coming Together Moving Up is a JOKE.
Where is that "explosive growth" they were promising? What about those "powerful" world-wide ministries they were gonna have??
It's just Pete blowing smoke up people's butts, just like he did in Waukegan, when they were holding prayer vigils on land they claimed to own---but didn't.
What does CFC REALLY have??? A stinky gym-cult, a phantom-ghost "college", and a bi-polar Harley club that worships a dead homo pedophile. Yup, the "fruits" of 30 years....
It's about time someone in CFCMI calls Pete and Ed on their BS.

:::sigh:::
Still waiting for CFC to back up their "God-led" statements from last year....
