Just how many do you think were present at the service on Sun. April 6, 2008?

I can count about 18-24 music ministers. There must be around 50-75 in the congregation. Of those I wonder how many are regulars and how many are visitors. Some look so remarkably different in dress, hair style etc. to make me think that is their first (and hopefully) last time there.

One of the single guys is wearing this enormous blazer--probably donated.

Kinda sparse for the "Largest Jesus-Name Ministry in the World!"

Notice there were no pictures of their SECOND service from their new building. Kind of makes you think numbers dropped off sharply.

CFCMI had some sort of military meeting. I think they were discussing benefits or something. Attendance seemed low. Notice that they never post photos of their services anymore. IMO no one is going. The numbers must be scant. There were only several rows of chairs. I wonder if the FLDS scandal is rubbing off on other cults and a reflection of the poor attendance.

Yeah, anytime you have a discussion with the military regarding the benefits of cults, I would assume the attendance would be low, unless you serve really good snacks afterwards.

Whenever they had military events at the church in Norfolk, the numbers were usually pretty low. What I find odd is how many non-military folks, or folks who have been out for a long time, were there to make up a crowd. This was the first such meeting since I left in 2003 from what I understand. Normally the Navy would hold their workshops at a base facility, but I guess one of the chiefs had some pull in this case.

I wonder what would be the reason for such a meeting. If it were an official military function it would have to be held on base. I know they have facilities that would accommodate. Could they be trying to get people to enlist? Maybe youth who are old enough for boot camp?

I don't suppose it could be an official workshop. If it were the Navy needs a heads up. IMO most officers are out of touch. I don't know about chiefs. Some have a lot of pull. Most non-culties are unaware of the presence of cults.

CFC baptisms for this year now number 21. Only one for the month of April was done in Norfolk. Not very good for International Headquarters. The rest mostly have taken place in Hawaii and Everett, WA. At that rate they will have baptised 84 by year's end. What was their original goal?

Regarding Norfolk does anyone know how many:

Oldheads are left?

Young guys are there?

Families?

From their photos I can only estimate total numbers are between 50 and 100.

Is there anyone with any connections to Norfolk any more?

I would like to know....how many folks stick around after they are "baptized"?

I heard Pete makes them disappear pretty quick, via his "one-man smoke and mirrors Majick Show."

Here is ther funny thing, if the Single Men married women from the outside their numbers would double. If each couple had 2-4 children, then CFC numbers would increase exponentially. There must not be any mathemeticians in CFCMI.:D

...Just meiser pastors who like to steal time, money and chastity from the single men of their "Church". ....SO SAD!...

Seriously, from what I understand, CFC had a school. And when those kids reached an age where they were able to, they LEFT. Because even those kids saw the hypocritical BS going on with the so-called "pastorship".

I feel sorry for those that went there; they probably got a sub-standard education along with cult-garbage nonsense in terms of spiritual guidance. Glad they left.

Oh, yeah.....

Since this is the CFCMI "numbers" thread, I am sure their numbers in Norfolk have increased, seeing that a FEW loyal enablers have re-located to the Hub.

But as I said, even Charles Manson has a following....so given that fact, I'm sure it's not too difficult to drum up a few bodies that are willing to listen to Ed verbally preen himself every Sunday.

It was the little boy who was wise enough to realize the vain emperor was parading down the street in his birthday suit. Children and youth have this wisdom that could only come from God. As we age, pride preoccupation with the day to day get in the way. This is why cults keep going for a while until they burn themselves out. They are so busy with busy work and so fatigued that the fail to see naked emperor leading the parade. In time some of them wake up and walk out.

I think for ever one who relocated to Norfolk there has been a walk out from CFC since April or even going back to February.

They set up around 256 chairs. Around half of them were filled. Overall attendance was around 128. Also, we must remember that 2/5 of this number is comprised of staff members.

CFC is picking up a few young people. I can't say if they are part of the Davis family or not. The oldheads are looking older and more sickly. I sincerely hope that they wise up, walk out, and start taking care of themselves.

Thomas and Paine see these guys as property and love them only as property. If any one of these Single Men left, the pastors would care, in as much, as they would have less cash flow and less free labor.

Paine and Thomas love things and use people. This is why they gave up the nice church that they had several years back for a dumpy old Boys Club that no one, not even the CFCMI board of directors, wanted.

150 people? After 30 years?

Well, I guess that goes to show you not too many people are interested in joining a pentecostal cult founded by a rapist.

Maybe they should try recruiting from the jail or V.A. nuthouse. Although I don't suppose those people have the funds that Paine/Thomas Industries are looking for.

If my estimates from April are accurate and my ones from September are also accurate, they picked only about 30 new members.

Does anyone know anything about walkouts from say, February on? One fellow from their website seems to have left--no one I ever met, per se. I just think a few are missing from last winter.

30 new members? I think you're way over-estimating.

They only had 30-some "baptisms" listed for this year, before they removed that page from their site. Obviously, they aren't generating too much interest.

BTW...did you hear that the Tony Alamo sect was raided? Guess the government finally got wise to their tax-evasions.

***eating crackers***

Wonder if Dan L. knows what he's doing, considering he's now "C.F.O." of the whole CFC charade. Uncle Sam doesn't like it when people owe $. Wasn't Dan involved in some investment scam years ago? I thought I read something about that somewhere....

CFCMI=Christians Financially Conning Military Innocents

What a bunch of goons.

I was merely counting heads. I can't know who was initiated into CFCMI. I'm sure they get some foot traffic. I doubt any return after their first service. Who wants to hear all those women caterwauling?!

I read some things on Tony Alamo. I'm glad he got raided. Now that is one dangerous cult!!

FLDS was raided last spring--in April.

I wonder if CFC is next on the list. They seem sooo innocent. I bet if anyone has it in for them it's the IRS.

Lantis sued someone. That was about five years ago--I think. He got taken. Pity ABC is down.

OK! So if CFCMI comprises all of the people in Heaven, they teach that they are the ONLY SAVED ONES, how many do you think that would be?

Are there any Old Testament saints there: Moses? Ezekiel? David? Jonah? Isaiah? Are the 12 Apostles there? What about the Four Evangelists?

Is it just LRD? Could he be the only one? CFC sees him as a prophet. They even erected a sign in his honor.

Here on FACTnet you can clearly see how many other such groups think that they will be the only ones in Heaven. So you see, there are either a lot of cults or a lot of heavens, one for each separate religion.

I have no idea what CFCMI numbers could be now.

All I know is that the Citi-Data forum drew in THOUSANDS of hits. THOUSANDS of people--civilians and military alike-- now know that CFCMI is a Pentecostal Pedo-fest, and want no part of it. (well, maybe a few would want to be a part of it, but that's a different story.) Those that are "saved" can go screw each other (financially and otherwise) in that hideous gymnasium.

CFCMI Norfolk is a sewer; just as much as it was a laughing stock in Waukegan.

Jesus has spoken all right.
