Just curious, what part of Wisconsin are you from? I have some friends in Madison and Beaver Dam, also I spent a lot of time all over the state back in the late 90's. Brrrrr! It was a cold winter when I was there.

Hey There,

Any word from you sister, Mary? I hope they are not treating you too poorly, they have a history of that. They are not big on familial connections, most of the people in the compound have little or no contact with their families. Sorry to say but it would be Mary herself and Saravati/Margaret who would be enforcing this.

No one knows how many people are there exactly, there are maybe a dozen old timers, 25+ years. Probably about the same number of newer people. They do manage to get people to come and take classes, I guess some of them from the super duper performances that Chokru in "Abbess" character puts on.

Which I understand to be a modified version of the same old, same old that Patricia and all the Gopi's have done over the years. We all remember the hands over the top of head. They use some different verbage, but the show is pretty much the same. I've heard some stories that sound kind of creepy about their recruiting methods. Creepy and desperate. But what are you going to do when you are a very small, very lame cult? Limited bag of tricks, there.

Sorry to go off on a tangent. I think you should be prepared, though, for some unpleasantness here. We all have our family issues, this is just a little more complex than most.

As for critics being woman haters!? You big liar. Do you even know what it's like not to lie constantly?

Morningland, in my experience was especially abusive to women. Patricia did heinous things to females in the group and constantly pitted male against females.

Remember these teachings.... women are cats - sneaky and untrustworthy. Men are dogs loyal but constantly vulnerable to tempation (Patricia's brilliant teachings). Women are always using sex to distract the male from the path. Blah, blah, blah. That might have actually been original to her, maybe the only original thing.

As for your other implied accusations regarding critics. I think the authorities in Long Beach know what the facts are in regards to who has committed crimes. FOR THE RECORD: I absolutely do not advocate nor do I know of any critics that advocate illegal acts against Morningland or anyone for that matter. I would report them to the authorities if I knew of anyone who committed or planned illegal acts against anyone.

On the other hand many people have reported crimes committed by the leaders of Morningland. So many that the California state Assembly formed a committee to investigate the accusations in the late seventies. Patrica was actually indicted, handcuffed and arrested on very serious felony charges.

Since you brought it up, Margaret, keep up the great public activity, by all means. Love to see what kind of stunt you come up with next.

In fact being sick at all is due to you being bad, Everything bad is your fault and everything good they will take credit for, as Borat would say...niiiiice!

Any of the old timers remember these crappy books they put out during that time, many pages of all caps and very few words on most pages. It talks about Lucifer and the second world and that 90% of the population have been possessed, that's a blast from the past. I don't think they let people see these books if they can help it but you can find them online, if you look.

Works very well, too. Daniel had to do it because of his appearance and thick accent. Patricia had to do it because she tended to creep people out. I think Margaret and Mary are just long in the tooth. Will it be enough to counter the power of the "internets"? Guess we'll see.

There are some very interesting threads from a very young person, Oksaru-no-Kimi, from this last year. They took her on a little cult roller coaster ride, thankfully she decided to get off. Decided she wanted to keep her own personality and her critical thinking skills....Imagine that!
