These materials, though certainly not fiction, may be seen as: An "Away Team from Space" (a Captain and His Crew) making a last attempt, just before their departure, to inform Earth's inhabitants of the only solution to their predicament of being enslaved by malevolent space aliens.

Or, in religious terms: the return of a "Savior" or "Messiah" with His "faithful flock"- to make a final offer of "salvation," or the way to enter the real Kingdom of Heaven (to all who can believe them) -just before they leave.
