Subject: Now there's a thing
Message-ID: NNTP-Posting-Date: Sun, 07 Apr 2002 01:06:12 EST Date: Sat, 6 Apr 2002 23:06:19 -0800 The Apologetics Index says at http://www.apologeticsindex.org/s04.html that: "The Church of Scientology is a commercial enterprise that masquerades as a religion, and that increasingly acts like a hate group. Scientology has a long history of hate and harassment activities, which - along with lying and deception - are condoned and encouraged in the cult's own ''scriptures.'' (See, for example, its ''dead agenting'' and ''fair game'' policies). This is why Apologetics Index classifies the organization as a hate group." They then argue their case and present examples. Which might be little more long-winded than the DMCA thingamajig but it seems, somehow, to be more compelling. IOHO FACTNet Staff -- F.A.C.T.Net, Inc.
