I am just curious to see what others think about love at first sight and if it is possible how do you know you are in love?

I believe its possible, depends on how you meet, and what the other person looks like.

I believe in love at first sight. The first time I saw the man I was going to marry I knew it and we have been together now for 14 years been married for 12. The one thing I can say is that after so long love does become something you have to work at and choose But I love my hubby more now than I ever have.

What about a blind person-they can not fall in love on sight.I am not saying this to be funny. I'm saying it's all about a connection on a spiritual and emotional level-to fall in love with our sight is more physical than anything which is okay for awhile but there has to be more than a physical attraction. I agree rachel,
I think it is also a choice, to love someone or not.

What if you know you love him and he loves you. You are with another guy and break up with him to go to this guy that you fell for. You sleep with him and he knocks you up. He will help you take care of it. Your parents won't let you see him. You miss him and your having twins. you cry your self to sleep at night. Is it Love?

It may only takes a second to fall in love
but it takes a lifetime to become friends.

Have you heard one? I saw one blast down the street in Vegas, it sounded like a formula car.

Not the prettiest Ferrari ever, that title goes to the '71ish Daytona spyder.

i believe at attraction at first sight but not love at first sight... love has a deeper meaning.. for me, you cannot easily say that you love the person first time you saw him/her..

I sometimes lust over Jaguar XKEs from like 69 to 72. They are curvaceous and dead sexy...

As long as we are speaking of curves, nothing comes close to a Corvette Stingray... I never understood how a car could be sexy, 'til I got behind the wheel of a "Vette"...

Also, seeing some of you like the Enzo, check out these pics...

Ouch, that sucks. 1 million bones down the drain. It is surely not the best looking car ever, but it might be the most technologically advanced production car ever.

I'd take a 72 vette. They have the curves, and still had the chrome bumpers then. Have you seen the new Lambo concept car? It is a re-do of this curvy little number.

Yes, there is Love at First Sight. It is best when you both feel it, because sometimes it is one-sided, and that just sucks for the person who isn't loved back.

I DON'T believe there is only one person for you. My first choice is afraid of comittment, obviously, since he is 49 and never married. My husband fell in love with me at first sight, it took me about 2 more weeks. We have been married for 10 1/2 years.

Just because someone loves you doesn't make you wise or them wise. You have to improve yourself and hopefully they will rise to the occassion and also improve themselves because they want to be with you and have things in common with you.

Many years ago I was walking through an exhibition hall and I had the strangest feeling that there was someone close by that I should meet. I followed the feeling and as it became stronger I found myself outside an exhibition booth. On turning the corner I saw a young girl there that seemed to me to also be expecting someone.

There was something strong between us but because I was vain and she was not very good looking I walked away. That's something I've often regretted. Since then I met another woman who is fantastic and again she was not really great looking at first but I was not willing to walk this time. We got married four years ago and she has blossomed and become a very beautiful looking woman as well as a good friend whom I love dearly.

It's the stuff books, movies, and weddings themselves are made of.
I fell in love with the girl next door at first sight -late spring at the age of fifteen.

She was kind to me and brought me cold drinks while I cut (her guardians') lawn.
She was a forster child.
One day she wanted to introduce me to her brand new boyfriend.
I never cut that lawn again ... swore at myself for the love that hurt so bad.
I made an inner vow and have never fallen in love since.

'Curious thing - There I was many years later at a Church up north. The most popular girl in the place was a 17 year old nubile who bore a striking resemblance to Britney Spears.
['Brown eyes as deep as the Atlantic.]
On the very first conversation I had with her there was a spiritual explosion as I looked into her face. I knew something had happened but I hadn't a clue what it was.
Later I was to find out that she had a crush on me. This my friends is awkward on all fronts because at the time I was 59.
GO figure ... 'flattering situation, yes, but
eminently more embarressing for both of us, but for her it was a major ostrasizing.

I really don't think I beleive in LOVE (true) at first site, however, I do think that you can get a very strong feeling when meeting someone that this is the person for you. I was in 2 very bad relationships & after several years of being alone, I met my current husbnd. It really just felt right from the beginning, & I had been praying for a life mate for mr for a long time., but still the true love only really comes through time of getting to really know each other & going through alot of good & BAD times together, If it meant to be, it WILL happen, so my opinion is, NO true love at irst site, but God can lead you to that right person, & you might have a strong feeling right away, but give it time (at least a year) & trust in God to keep you in track, he'll never let you down, really. That's the onr person I was in love with at first experience, Jesus Christ. Hang in there, it will work out for you - God do'es have a plan for each & every one of us, wait on his timing, don't ever get in a rush! God Bless you.
