My Sister is a long time member of a bible-based church called the Millenial Kingdom Family Church. The Church originated in Hyde Park NY but has at least one other branch that I know of in Tallahassee Florida where my sister lives. I recently moved my mother (she has Alzheimers disease) and I onto a property adjacent to her's. The other family members live in the adjacent property as well. I had some concern when I made this critical move, but what I didn't expect was for my sister to make legal manuevers to gain guardianship of my mother and her assets. My sister does not act independently of the group leader they call Abraham. This church has been highly destructive in mine and my family's lives. Can anyone tell me anything about them? |

I'm sorry it took me so long to see this message. I believe I can give you a great deal of information about this cult because I am a former member. If you read this feel free to email me. |

I think I have met your sister up in Hyde Park, NY. My sister-in-law was also down Tallahassee, Fla, where she had a baby girl with Abraham. I hope you get this message. I will be looking for your response. |

I was on the internet one day looking to see if my good friends at the Millennial Kingdom Family Church have ever put together a website.Under Search, I typed the church name ,and I was shocked at what came up under this Factnet Message Board. I have been friends with the Millennial Kingdom Family Church for close to thirty years, and know them personally. They are beautiful people, and will always be my friends. They are not a cult, and it is just awful and slanderous as to what is being posted on this message board. They are a wonderful group of Christians who are very dedicated to their faith, their love for the Lord, and Christ. They live a very religious life, and have helped many families come closer to the Lord. It is a terrible thing that people abuse and misuse newspapers, radio, internet, {and other means} to spread lies and false gossip, just to gain attention while persecuting others. Even though I would never register with a message group such as this, I felt so upset by what was being done here, that I had to present the truth I would encourage anyone interested in the truth about the church ( or anything else }, not to get information from message boards such as this, or other areas, that have only the purpose of spreading idle gossip and false rumors to get attention. The Lord watches over all things and knows the type of people who write on these message boards, what they have done, and how they live.I care not to use this message as an invitation to have a conversation with the people who have put messages on this board. I do not communicate with people so eager to talk about others first, while saying very little about themselves. The Millennial Kingdom Family church is a wonderful church trying to be an example for the world to follow.Good people have always been prosecuted throughout time dating back to early Christianity, and today is no different. I believe that the Lord will always watch over the faithful and protect them. This is what is written in the scriptures, and what Christ promised. |

Well all I have to say to Friend for life is there are always 2 sides and you are a supposed friend and did not live there and maybe just maybe there is another side to it that you did not see - I am not speaking bad about this organization by calling it a cult it is just a definition - if it looks like a duck - sounds like a duck...I have done much research since being in this place and it was not a "bad" place in many ways and their public face is above reproach but there are many distinct features that would classify it as a cult by well reputed Christian people- that is a fact not slander and I am speaking my truth, my personal experience not lies - you don't know me yet you judge me isn't that something left to God and not to people? |
