A friend is attending New Era Trainings in Concord CA a man by the name of Jim Hellam is the leader of this group and has ties with Asia Works, Personal Dynamics, Lifespring, LeaderTrain, the Negotiation Lab... just to name a few. Does anyone want to share their experiences that they have had with this group of Jim Hellam?}

I've heard of Lifespring, but what is Personal Dynamics? Is it a group?

Athough I have not attended these seminars, I believe I can give a guess as what is truly going on here. They will give very "broad" instructions. To put it more succinctly they will talk about "WHAT" they did and almost never talk about "HOW they did it." Let me explain. Let's say you go to amway. There will always be a guy that has a success testimony. He will talk endlessly about how successful he is (this is WHAT talk) and he worked hard etc. (more WHAT talk). However do you hear him say exactly HOW he did it? No. This goes for everyone from everyone from Tony R. to amway. Next time you hear any pitch on TV about selling stocks, real estate, and etc. Listen closly to them. I assure you. You will only hear WHAT and you won't hear any HOW. This reminds me. Years ago I had a friend that bought a real estate progam from one of those folks. He had a thick 200+ page book. He loaned me the book and I read it. I figured if he bought the program there would be some HOW in the book. There were about two sentences of HOW (fairly lousy broad obvious instructions that did not require book purchase in my opinion) and the rest of the 199 pages was all WHAT. Like I mentioned. Listen and all you will hear is WHAT.

gatordave is mistaken, 'Person Dynamics' is merely a consulting firm. Though I do like what heynow has writen, the whole AA program is all "what", without any "how" what-so-ever, not one word. It's just one long sales pitch, and that's all the "meetings" are also.
