Almost 2,000 children were murdered in the United States during 1996, but none of those murders has fascinated the American public and attracted the mass media like that of JonBenet Ramsey. And a year after the little girl died, the spotlight is still hot and her killing is still unsolved.
The Boulder, Colorado police department recently bolstered its investigation into the strangling death of the 6-year-old beauty pageant princess, perhaps providing a semblance of hope that there eventually will be justice for JonBenet.
On December 26, 1996, John Ramsey found the body of his daughter in the basement wine cellar of the family's sprawling Boulder home. According to the police report, JonBenet was covered with a blanket, her wrists were tied above her head, her mouth was covered with tape, and a nylon cord was wrapped around her neck. The autopsy report revealed she might have been sexually abused and that she suffered a blow to her head that left an eight-and-a-half inch fracture.
JonBenet had become a seasoned model and pageant contestant in her 6 years
Early that morning, Patsy Ramsey called 911 saying JonBenet had been kidnapped. She had found a ransom note -- a three-page letter that the Colorado Bureau of Investigation later said she might have written herself. After studying handwriting samples, the CBI concluded John Ramsey did not write the note but said "there are indications that the author" is Patsy, "although there is not enough evidence to conclude that definitively."
The Ramseys publicly denied any responsibility in their daughter's murder in an exclusive interview with CNN on New Year's Day. About a month later, Boulder County District Attorney Alex Hunter identified the Ramseys as "the obvious focus of the investigation." And nearly a year later, the new lead investigator said JonBenet's parents "remain under an umbrella of suspicion."
But Cmdr. Mark Beckner said police have no official suspects in the case. Still, he said he is confident the murder mystery will be solved.
Will it? If evil was involved how can we ever understand or belive? Remember the ransom note?
the Ramseys finger Prints were not on it.
Yet the officials whom handled the note as evidence left a slew of theirs on it.. How was this possible? Something evil happened here.
I only know one thing for sure, nothing gets by God, He knows what happened...and Judgement Day awaits the killer/s of this innocent child. |

Pure tabloid hype.
A million Iraqis, mostly children, were murdered by Washington's sanctions, another 100,000 innocent civilians so far killed by US forces in Bush's war, & all the commercial media can talk about is Jon Benet & Lacey Petersen. Any wonder America is so hated & despised?

Yassar Arafat while alive and his crew sanctioned terrorism by young children carrying body bombs killing thousands of innocent civilians including Americans in Israel and elsewhere.
Saddam Hussein, his son, and there cohorts TORTURED and murdered over 250,000 innocent victims.
Al Quida, Ben Laden and his terrorists killed almost 4,000 innocent American victims at the World Trade Center...
dozens on Navy Ship attack...100's on Army Barracks, 1,000,s at American Embassy and so on...
Syria, Iran, some Jordanian radicals, and Arab radicals continue to be the ones coming into Iraq and killing innocent Iraquis and trying to kill Americans.
Your figures on Iraquis are not the FACTS. Less than 2,000 casualties in the war...and civilians in Iraq were killed by any American action.

yea, and the disgraced viet nam war traitor, john kerry would have probably gone over to iraq himself and slaughtered millions because he is such a great liberal hollow hero. |

I think patsy was protecting burke as he accidently killed her.i think she(jonbenet) wet her bed and tried jumping into burkes but he was angry at her for getting a new bike for xmas and not he.i reckon he pushed her out of his bed and she then hit her head on an open drawer accidently. then patsy tried to cover it up. things dont add up and y didnt they get a polygraph test.and burkes interview would be interesting. |
