Yes Folks...this from a former member of this sex cult..and that IS what it is..it is all it is..a sex cult with older males preying on younger males...practicing Pedophilia..Zoophilia..and all manner of other perversions..this I know...This I am well aware of...Furry is a little too acceptable to most parents..and they should be warned BIGTIME..This cult is one of THE most perverse on the planet...I will speak more on this subject later...slowly..Theres a LOT to say on this subject..but beware...it and the leaders ARE nefarious...and have only ONE goal..to corrupt society and its young.} | ||

Wow. If all there is to furry is a place for old gay men to pick up young guys, how come I'm a straight female in a long-term relationship, and I'm furry? Also, "the leaders are nefarious?" (Nefarious? Heee! Are we in a B-grade horror film, and I didn't notice?) Please point me at the furry leaders, would you? I've never met a furry leader. I didn't know that furry was that organized. I thought that furry was just a collection of geeks who are obsessed about animals. And furries are no more perverted than any other group out there. (Which, of course, means that they're plenty perverted. They're young, human, and mostly male.) Furry is many things, but the one thing it's not is a cult. Get a grip, get over the fact that some old furry guy hit on you, and learn to read. Here's what a cult is: "A religion or religious sect generally considered to be extremist or false, with its followers often living in an unconventional manner under the guidance of an authoritarian, charismatic leader." That's straight from dictionary.com, go see for yourself. So "a religion." They're already not a cult, because furry has nothing to do with religion. It's a fandom, like Star Trek, or Lord of the Rings. Next point, "extremist." Okay, there you have me. A lot of furries are extremists. But if extremism made a cult, then being a Republican would make you a cult member. Followers living unconventionally? Hrm... most furries live in their parents' basements. Nope, that's pretty typical. Next. Charismatic leader? Furry hasn't got a leader! You can't get two furries to agree on anything. There is no "prophet of furry." There's nobody in charge! So no, not a cult. A freakshow, sure. Sometimes full of weirdos. Occasionally crazy about sex. But they're a heap of teenage males. Duh. And it's completely possible to be furry and *gasp!* avoid sex. There are whole furry communities, like cleanfurs, dedicated to living a wholesome lifestyle within furry. The sex obsession has nothing to do with furry. Furry is, in short, a fandom. And a fandom is not the same thing as a cult.
