Sin is upon every earth that ever was created, and if it was not so, I
would like some philosophers to let us know how people can be exalted to
become sons of God, and enjoy a fulness (sic) of glory with the Redeemer.
Consequently every earth has its redeemer, and every earth has its tempter;
and every earth, and the people thereof, in their turn and time, receive
all that we receive, and pass through all the ordeals that we are passing
through.
Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses 14:71-72.

While one may say that this is not LDS "Scripture," Brigham Young has said that every thing he ever said is Scripture:

I know just as well what to teach this people and just what to say to them and what to do in order to bring them into the celestial kingdom...I have never yet preached a sermon and sent it out to the children of men, that they may not call Scripture. Let me have the privledge (sic) of correcting a sermon, and it is as good Scripture as they deserve. The people have the oracles of God continually. Brigham Young Journal of Discourses Vol. 13, Page 95.

Often, LSD will claim that the Journal of Discourses isn't sacred works, especially when one finds very weird and strange quotes from this LDS source. However, Brigham Young is one of the most famous prophets (aside from Joseph Smith) of the LDS church. If mere men can determine what he said is or is not from God, then why have prophets at all (the LDS claims that there is a need for prophets today)? He claimed, as a Mormon Prophet, that whatever he preached is Scripture. Obviously, what he taught about many redeemers is completely in contradiction with the Holy Word of God, the Bible. Just one of the reasons the Mormon Church is not Christian as it claims itself to be. There are many such bizarre teachings in the LDS Church that the public needs to be aware of. This is a mere sampling.

Brigham Young was, in fact, a 33rd degree Mason who parroted prophetic words of Joseph (who made many bad mistakes (polygamy, masonry, allowed the alteration of the Book of Mormon) even as King David of old (murder, adultery, etc.) did for which he had to repent of. It is up to the Lord to forgive - not for us to judge!

Brighm Young initiated the Masonic Rites Satanic Blood oath of secrecy or "suffer your life to be taken" into the Nauvoo Temple which brought the entire church into condemnation (D&C 124:47-48) for "folly works, and abominations which ye do before me, saith the Lord" as Ezra T. Benson reminded the members in his famous Pride talk before Hinckley "subdued" him - Ezra; a repenting, corrupt man, never spoke again!

Daniel's prophesy gives warnings of these "latter-days" with previous type & shadows with the 4th Beast for this time period being America. (Diverse - unlike any other country, etc. which will bring forth 10 Kings WITHOUT a country - negates Europe - with 3 (others) being subdued by a fourth; the Anti-Christ!(Hinckley - who with flattering words (public relations/image) leads the people down to hell.

Hinckley is also is known for building many great and spacious buildings and temples even as the wicked King Noah (president of the church anciently and a type and shadow of today) did as the book of Mosiah warns 3 times (type and shadow of things to come) about this day.

Brigham Young was the first "King" spoken of by Daniel. Where much is given (Ancient America History of the "other sheep" the Savior taught after his Ascension), much is indeed expected and the LDS Church is condemned and IS the most evil church on the earth. www.mormon.citymax.com

What thought or concern does Hinckley have for the poor in America (even members - who have been cut off from assistance from the church), the 28 million of slaves currently abused in Africa, or the millions of people starving to death around the world? Instead, he is, again seeking world praise as a money changer by spending 1 BILLION dollars on downtown SLC (2 blocks) for yet another GREAT & SPACIOUS BUILDING - the shopping malls!
Unbelievable! ONE Billion dollars could do so much to provide temporary food & water for the poor of the world and THEN build infrastructures to help countries become Independant (handouts are used to politically to keep countries controlled - neocolonism tactics)
Even the LDS education fund to those outside of the US is controlled as a LOAN with interest! Where is the heart - the spirituallity? - Gone with the lies and hypocrites of the money changers Total Institution (dictatorship) bureacracy - of past and present.
Hinckley IS the actual fulfillment of the Anti-Christ leading the SAINTS carefully (public relations/propaganda such as "the Profit (sic) will NEVER lead you astray" LOL!) down to hell!
He fulfills ALL prophecies regarding the Anti-Christ. Read the second part on the Anti-Christ at www.mormon.citymax.com Quite interesting - The Lord is NOW in charge and corruption is being exposed and plain and precious truths restored - No church in Heaven only truth that Jesus IS God. All religions (major cause of wars based on greed and control) are the incorrect interpretations of men.

Even when Hinckley went to the dedication of the Mountain Meadows Massacre site, he denied mormons were involved, but on the other side of his mouth, said no one would ever know for sure what happened. Why in the heck did he bother going for.

When he took relief aid to people who were starving and traumatized by a natural disaster, he first preached to them about giving tithing, before he would release the food and supplies. Can you imagine? And the stupid mormon journalists point to these statements with pride, for Gosh sake!

And, while I'm in such a great mood, let me share something I found this morning in the Journal of Discourses, Volume 5 pg.291 by Erastus Snow:
Do you uphold your husband before God as your lord? "What!--my husband to be my lord?" I ask, Can you get into the Celestial kingdom without him? Have any of you been there? (hey, weren't they supposed to have 'been there'as spirits before coming here, gc). You will remember that you never got into the Celestial kingdom without the aid of your husband. If you did, it was because your husband was away, and someone had to act proxy for him. No woman will get into the Celestial kingdom, except her husband receives her, if she is worthy to have a husband; and if not, somebody will receive her as a servant.

godchild said: No woman will get into the Celestial kingdom, except her husband receives her, if she is worthy to have a husband; and if not, somebody will receive her as a servant.

Your forgot to add that you can't get to the Celestial Kingdom without her husband and MONEY -- paid to the LDS Church -- 10% -- you know -- pay as you go type of thing. For LDS they must be married AND pay out cash in order to get into heaven!

And truerae --

Regarding the link you provided:

I clicked on it, it's nothing but a poor brainwashed LDS who has had visions given to him by demons -- bless his deceived heart -- I'm not seeing where this backs up your point. Granted, I didn't really study the site, so can you point me in the right direction please once I get to the site?

Thanks.

In Christ alone...

Truerae, the citymax site is not based in gospel reality either. One point of interest was that after death the soul sleeps. Another false gospel. Again Just another group that has spun off of Joseph Smith.
