Hi all, I have a very close freind who has joined the christian outreach centre ( COC ) in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Thier website is www.coc.org.au I am very worried about her, she is only 21 and has completely immersed herself into this religion to the point of going to every meeting just about 7 days a week, and even leaving her good job and going to thier bible college full time for the next 2 years. Whenever I speak with her she just comes out with stuff like God speaks to her in a voice, but also she can hear demons telling her to do bad stuff. When I ask her a question like........do you want to go out and see a movie ? there is a delay.....she is aking God for an answer, and she says he speaks to her yes or no, or go and do this or that. She is obsessed with demon possesion and told me I have a witchcraft demon inside me which she saw when she was speaking on the phone to me. QUESTIONS>>>>>>> Can somebody enlighten me urgently what this church is all about ? How do I tackle the subject of God speaking to her ? She speaks in tongues and rekons she can heal people.......after 6 months ? What The ? I need some hard info on whether this is just another cult..........and advice as to HOW to tackle the subject in a nice way. ANY HELP or ADVICE is appreciated ! Cheers, Henry. |
