I haven't read the article yet, a friend who subscribes to Charisma Magazine read portions of an article on Paul Cain a popular Prophet to me tonight who was engaging in drunkeness and homosexuality and who for a long time denied all confrontations from top ministers. He kept right on ministering and misrepresenting himself to the Body and now there are casualties. Sorry, to anyone that has been hurt by this breach of trust, perversion and chicannery. Man I can't believe this and it is an outrageous thing. There are many scriptures flying through my mind. Sigh. |

Paul Cain should step down as a preacher cause he is a false prophet and False Teacher supporter Though William Branham denied the historic, orthodox view of the Trinity Paul Cain had this to say about him, "The greatest prophet that ever lived in any of my generations or any of the generations of revival I've lived through." http://myfortress.org/PaulCain.html also: Cain was part of the The Kansas City Prophets movement which was a movement for False Teachers and their enablers in the Kansas City area ------------------------------------------------ http://www.apologeticsindex.org/k00.html#kcp Kansas City Prophets Controversial group of "prophets", including Bob Jones, Paul Cain and John Paul Jackson who, in the mid 80's, were associated with the Kansas City Fellowship. Teachings and practices have strong ties to the heretical Latter Rain movement of the 50's. Some current Renewal and Revival Movements promote these men and their teachings. Mike Bickle and Rick Joyner who is a Controversial teacher, considered by many within Renewal and Revival movements to be a "prophet" and/or "apostle". Promotes elements of Latter Rain teachings, Manifest Sons of God, etcetera. both push the Kansas City Prophets lies http://www.apologeticsindex.org/j08.html has more info on Joyner by the way |

People should write to Paul Cain and tell him what they think of his deception and how it affected them. He should not get away with all of the hurt and confusion he has caused. When someone perpetrates they should receive the anger of their victims. That is what I have been taught and I live it. Couldn't he have stopped using God's name while he was doing all of that? This situation stinks. I wonder how he responded to anyone who approached him discernment about hidden sin. At least it is out in the open now so everyone can start healing and feeling sane again. Lord, Jesus have mercy and justice in this situation. |

Trouble is under Joyner there is no chance short of a miracle and or God steps in to clean house of that happening as Joyner now believes he can set up a Restoration ministry for errant Leaders. (God TV Special programme Recently uK now in US www.god.tv link to Morning Star via God TV website). I would LOVE to see these people repent and show genuine godly sorrow. iNstead they just carry on. The revisionist history of Bob Weiners crew Morning Star international(long story but expertS are on the Board adds further discouragemetn). Please God send your Fire to burn out the dross! |

The "prophets and apostles" your talking about are part of the larger occult movement known as the New Order of the Latter Rain (NOLR). For some good overview articles, go to: www.banner.org.uk and click on the Latter Rain section of articles. The bottom line is that Cain, Branham, Frangipane, Bickle, John Robert Stevens, etc. etc. all followed the early pioneer founders of the NOLR who got their start in the 1948-1951 false revival in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. They accepted as genuine, the Rosicrucian prophetic declaration of Jane Leade (1623-1704). The majority of these theosophical prophecies can be found here: www.passtheword.org They are a mixture of the Kabbalah, Alchemy, Astrology, and of course -- Biblical Metophors and allegories. Many, many scholarly articles have been written exposing the errors of the NOLR and its front organizations: 1) New Apostolic Reformation 2) International Coalition of Apostles 3) Purpose Driven Church 4) etc. etc. |

This is a very interesting thread. I did not know that Paul Cain was involved in kabbalah, are you sure? He was drinking and some other things I heard. Frangipane seems like he is right on about many things are you sure he is occultic? Why isn't anyone posting on Carlton Pearson? He is teaching some terrible things. He teaches that there is no real eternal Hell, (has he read the book of Jude)? He says Hell is something we go through here and that Hindu gods are the same God that Jesus directs us to. He has gone very very off. He won't step down and believes that he has new light and revelation from God. He was kicked off the Board of Regents at ORU when he would not repent or recant. He is doing conferences with other New Age leaders who are saying they are teaching a New Christianity. Dis ain't right if ya know what I mean. Peace. |

I am looking for people who have been personally affected by this ministry or damaged by another. I knew Paul Cain personally in his earlier years. It has taken me years to understand and forgive. I feel like the Lord has called me to search for the wounded "sheep". If you can relate to this message or know of someone who can, please write back and post your e-mail message so I can write you back confidentially. |

This is so sad. The various charismatic movements have sadly produced untold numbers of of these hurting casualties. I hold them all up in prayer. |

Anony, they need your prayers for sure! Seeing how this only grows to be worse and worse I can only pray that God breaks in and does something about these decievers and wolves. |

I met Mike Bickel and Paul Cain in 2005. Old Paul pushed his way right up to the bar at the Sheraton in Overland Park and ordered a triple vodka, while I was tryin to order a doggone sandwich during an IHOP break. Later that evening I had dinner with Bickle. I used to be a major partner. Paul Cain is over. So are many WOF ministers. This year will weed alot of these bums out. Other of Bickle's friends are proven false teachers and prophets. What will happen to Mike remains a mystery. He's one heck of a brilliant guy but gets involved with bad people. The prophecys by Bickles frineds are outrageous. I like Mike and many of his teachings have been very very impressive. But his company stinks! |
