I had no idea it was a cult. But after what Ive read and sitting through one of their services I can understand. The Pastor never preached. Some woman who looked to be in her 90's spoke about sexual immorality in the church and how some children were demon possessed. Pretty scary needless to say. I did get to meet Joe English who played with McCartney in the 70's. I actually saw him in 1976 in Atlanta with Wings.I go to an Assembly of God Church in SC and can tell you I have NEVER WITNESSED anything like the WOFF services. I dont mean that in a positve way, they are way off and I wonder if salvation exists there at all. They never gave an altar call or a chance to accept Jesus as Savior. I have read that Sam and Jane Whaley live in a $310,000 home just outside Rutherforton Cty with a swimming pool, while many of the memembers live 4-5 families to a house and that it has a spirit of "Jezebel" (Old Testament) They dont acknowlege Holidays however they do have some special gathering on Thanksgiving Day there. Please pray for deliverence for that church and that the Holy Spirit would set those people free. |
