Have you ever noticed that the more you make "plans" the more things get screwed up? I heard a quote today, "Happiness comes from appreciating and being thankful for all that you have not what you are searching for." -author unknown. I'm not really sure why but that really hit home for me. My Mother always taught me that I needed to pray for direction and let God steer the course, because although I may have many plans for my own life it is God's plan for me that really matters and we may not be following the same map. So as I search for my purpose in life I find that I need constant reminding of this. Mom explained that although I may think reaching each of my own goals may be what will make me happy, it may not be what God actually has in store for me. And more often than not I do seem to run into quite a bit of resistance when trying to reach these goals. That is when God reminds me that He never gives me more than I can handle, and when I quit trying to control my own situation and give it up to him through prayer and meditation He calms every storm. By the way my Mom also taught me to NEVER pray for patience but for understanding instead. The only way to learn patience would be through having them tested and God is all about teaching me all that I need to learn. Sorry, I got off of the point. The reason for posting this is .... drum roll please ... Do you think that within the Twelve Tribes there is so much power and control struggle that they all have forgotten whom it is that really hold that power and control? GOD. Not man, not you, not me, not even Yoneg. Maybe if Spriggs had more faith in God, Yashua, and less in himself and became truly humble then just maybe things would unfold differently. |

The first Bible verse I ever learned was... "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." |
