TITLE: “Why Aren’t You A Cultist?” (Drafted 2/27/07) (On 12/26/2007 Ex’r Staff et al was changed to a ‘new’ title throughout this article to make it more generic and less offensive to who it is teaching. In other words this ‘new’ title is more ‘code’ like.)

WE ARE NOT ON DEFENSE: After so many years of observing the Haters internet conduct we are amazed when the Body of Christ is ever put on the defensive or even influenced by anything the Haters posit. Again, none of these Haters things move us. To date we have never accepted Atheists, Liberal Christians, Humanists and other God haters defining what Christianity is or even counting these types as having a relevant belief/opinion as it relates to anything having to do with God when what they teach is bad doctrine.

NOTICE: This article will be the typical greg_s article so the Haters, in addition to skipping this article then telling us we are wrong, may want to report to Mother Smit’s yahoo group for further instructions regarding how to proceed in addition to reporting us to the FACTNet administration for violating one thing or another and/or the Haters may once again desire to change the subject…for some reason the Haters do not want to talk about a women’s properly fitted dress slacks anymore either. As you may have noticed, no one (with the exception of one person [measinner] early last year) from the Haters will step up to the plate in a persistent, even marginally substantive or even somewhat relevant way to refute any greg_s post to date. Though the language of this article is inclusive (as is the language of all greg_s posts to date, since we mostly post articles regarding doctrine or relating to doctrine so they are therefore relevant to the entire world wide Cultic Body of Christ) we assume many may not want to spend the intellectual capital to own the Cult title so we will qualify this article as the view of greg_s only. Another Haters sponsored irony/hypocrisy…The Haters are against titles yet they assign them routinely to greg_s with varying degrees of accuracy/gusto (e.g. Cultist, anti-Christ, Nazi, idiot et al). Enjoy or not; respond in a relevant way or not; your choice on FACTNet!

WARMING UP WITH SOME CULT QUOTES FROM OUR EXTENSIVE (240 MB AND GROWING, INCLUDES OVER 600 ALREADY DRAFTED NEVER BEEN POSTED POSTS) FACTNET/INTERNET ARCHIVES:

"...if you believe in it, it is a religion or perhaps 'the' religion; and if you do not care one way or another about it, it is a sect; but if you fear and hate it, it is a cult." Leo Pfeffer.

"My working definition of a cult is a group that you don't like, and I say that somewhat facetiously, but at the same time, in fact, that is my working definition of a cult. It is a group that somebody doesn't like. It is a derogatory term, and I have never seen it redeemed from the derogatory connotations that it picked up in the sociological literature in the 1930s." J. Gordon Melton.

"...one person's cult is another's religion; all religions begin life as cults. An alternative definition is that a cult is a religion which you happen to dislike." Anthony Campbell

“Cult is a word without much use outside the realm of religious mudslinging." Philip Kennicott

"When someone uses the word 'cult,' it usually says more about them than the group," J. Gordon Melton

"It's easy to tell the difference - a cult is someone else's religion.” Corollary: "A fanatic is someone who believes something more strongly than you do." Jim Heldberg

"I have often thought that the difference between a cult and a religion is an IRS ruling." Ron Barrier

Who's Leo Pfooffer?

Or meltdown? Campbull? Kennicute? Heldberger? Barrierr?

These 'smart' guys I don't know. But Paul, and Peter, and Jude, and Jesus I do know.

And they spoke of angels of light, transformed apostles, false prophets & teachers, ministers of unrighteousness, thieves, hirelings, grievous wolves risen up among us, etc... (Oh yea, and don't forget Antichrists)

You know, Davis-types. Big, bad church-building barn-burners that'll also blow your Christianity and your House down. (If you let them)

Which the greater majority of ministers ARE NOT. Those are the decent (but flawed) ones that still minister in and for the body of Christ.

Davis-types have been ministering so long against the rest of the body and contrary to the Christian's personal welfare, that themselves are still 'ministering' in and among us, but are no longer for nor of us (!)

"A fanatic is someone who believes something more strongly than you do."

Kinson used to always quote that one, though he never gave the source. (Typical Davisite)

I'm a fanatic anti-antichrist.

I believe more strongly than you do, that the Father's Business is the Loving People Business. NOT Davis' People Business.

(In the first paragraph, Greg actually wrote in a plain way. He talked to us. Which is why I actually read it. But not that pesky middle part that went back into Encyclo-glyphics speech.)

I mean, who refers to himself like that in the first person? And by his Factnet handle to boot??

bro_derrick noted former posts numerous/many occasions how bro_derrick (anti_cultist) specifies to non-exer leaders failed/mistaken to their persistent/continual refusal to hear/head our expositions/treatise of our own to date...

I mean, c'mon man! My gosh! Oh my head, my head! (2 Kings 4:19)

I will always be thankful to Vic for showing up my over use of italics, underlines, quotation devices, etc... What he was trying to get through to me was to write like we're talking to someone without getting so caught up in the grammatics.

And Vic's done good to use less professorial jargonese. (Though in one recent post he definitely slipped back into it again.)

But, hey, nobody's perfect.

And not all of us are CULTISTS EITHER! (Hello Davis! greg_s!)

Hello Shunk! Is that you? Are you really there?? Come out, come out, wherever you are!
