I don't think I've seen this posted before... and it might be helpful for someone researching this group to read about - If you are a member or if you decide to attend the seminary, you will be told that to use your GI Bill will send you to hell. For a member you might miss too many services and the will of God is to be in their program. College would be too much of a distraction for them. If you are in the seminary it will be told to you by many different teachers and leaders that to go to a trade school or secular college will send you straight to hell. One particular teacher I had (Malone was always mahhhvvelous) brought this up every time I was in class with him. He would talk about the young men who after graduating would go attend a trade school instead of starting a work for God. And how they were on their way to hell and he was warning us against doing the same. (Red flags were going up in my mind at the time) For many this might be their only chance to get a real education and better themselves and their earning potential. There really are a lot of bright good people that get mixed up in this and it is a shame that they never get to use their GI Bill. Ntcc's advice is very biased concerning this issue because they stand to make quite a bit of money off of you in mandatory tithes and offerings should you chose to listen to them. Don't let your GI Bill slip through your well deserving hands. You earned it and they have no right to guilt trip you out of it. |

"Don't let your GI Bill slip through your well deserving hands. You earned it and they have no right to guilt trip you out of it." Too late. But I do have a shiny diploma from NTCC's "college," paid for with my own money (and a few years of unbearable tedium). If it were a bit more plush, it would suffice for toilet paper, but presently it is of no functional use. |

Just a thought...alot of accredited online or correspondence schools will allow you to use your GI BILL. However you have to take a heavier load of classes. He is another thing if you feel like time is running out before you can use your GI BILL, write the VA and tell them your circumstances and they may grant you an extension. That is what I did! Once my books were paid for, the tax free money paid for my living expenses. When I first joined the military the GI BILL paid only 300mo. Once I started using it, it was almost 1000 a month. One last thing, if your GI Bill expired before you could use it...write the VA anyways you never know. WTE |

NTCC doesn't want people smarter than they are. You notice they don't go after people who are very well educated. The very well educated, would laugh at them. } |
