I just want to start by saying that before I made my decision to leave NTCC, I never went on factnet. I did not want to see all the trash that was written.
Shortly after making my decision, I came here looking for Bro. and Sis. that I once knew.
As I began to read over the mirad of threads I was suprised and unbelieving at first.
Even now I find it hard to believe some of the stories here.
However I am realizing that while they maybe hard to believe, I have no facts to prove they are wrong either.
This one thing is very true. The organization is very secretive.
Another fact is that it is ruled over by one man. There are no checks and balances.
Every student and minister is held accountable to the Org.
Where is the accountability of the org. to the minister and the student?
This is the Cliche that I find rumbeling through my head, "Power tends to corrupt, Absolute power corrupts absolutely." |

I know that God is in control of everything, and yes, It will come out on that final day. But It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if they were exposed on National TV, or through the Newspapers. Not just locally, But nationally. I would be willing to say that there would be so many people willing to speak out against their practices that it would dwarf Factnet, and it would certainly put the organization in a very uncomfortable position.They wouldn't be able to scurry and hide. The IRS would call for an audit of the books, and their practices would be put on public display for ALL to see.
Would I be happy? Probably in the fact that they were finally being exposed for what they truly are. But, at the same time I would be sad that it had to come to this in the first place. |
