"You don't go to your hometowns to build a church, because Jesus showed us that not much work for God will get done in your own country and house. Besides most of you will just spend time with your families and neglect the work of God!" Davis: Teaching on why Davis does not approve his licensed ministers working in their own hometowns. "After a couple or three days, you get tired of family real quick. Because you'll either get bored or they will get you back into sin!" Kinson: Tillicum (Echoing Davis' vision of Family-Visits for real holiness Christians.) "The worst thing a new Christian can do is go home on leave!" The Servicemen's Director's Mantra So we have a ready-made indoctrination theology, not just wary of, but antagonistic to all Family relations outside of NTCC membership. The ONLY family you ought have is the NTCC family, and Davis is your new Daddy-Pastor-Christ. The NTCC & HOP pentecostal, holiness, soulwinning, ministerial Christian is raised from their new-babe cradle to consider all family and friends outside of NTCC to be open threats to their new faith in Christ, especially the 'religious' ones. Rather than spreading their good faith to others, especially family & friends, they become 'wrapped up' in their faith strictly within the NTCC boundaries. "When the new contacts begin to get in, we need to wrap them up in the Servicemen's Home!" Bradeen: Woodbrook (On how to isolate the newcomers from the rest of the world, including family, friends, military units, etc...) You don't just avoid their sins, you avoid THEM. |

According to Davis' Separation of Church & Family doctrine, Jesus in John 7 was a loser, run-out-of-town by the devil, and then did the worst thing of all: Went home to mommy. 1) This, of course, is a perversion of hating mother & father for Jesus' sake, where we are to hate the friendship of the world that is at enmity with God, even if it is our own unbelieving family relations or former friends who think it strange that we no longer run with them to the same excess of riot. Since Davis' Pentecostalized additional holiness rules separates his Christian followers from the rest of the 'compromised' body of Christ, then the 'compromised' Christian families and friends get forsaken as well: contrary to the Lord's commandment to honor mother and father. Thus by such corban gifts of doctrinal loyalty to false Leaders, the written Word of God is made of none effect, or at most 'mother & father' are honored with their lips only on telephone or by fixed, brief visits. (I mean, after all, that's all real holiness Christians can stand around their families anyway, right?) 2) This over-done separation doctrine contrary to Scripture is the usual tactic of all cultish-leaderships: Isolationism. And since, Davis also knows this, in his 'wisdom' he tries to make it a rule for people, especially students' to call home, so that Graham don't 'appear' like just another cult (!) (In this case, appearances are NOT decieving. But the appearances of honor and love put on for family & friends are deceptive for the strict purpose of trying to get them into the cult also.) Such wrested doctrines and their twisted loyalties are what cause the babes in Christ to become the 'polished' workers of feigned faith and love, that graduates to the leadership level of such cult-groups as NTCC and HOP. 'Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.' (1 Tim 1:5) And as one pursues such leading success in Davis' filthy church-business, it becomes inherintly IMPOSSIBLE to do anything with a pure heart of Jesus' faith and God's love, so that even their treatment of one another becomes loyalty-based: Who's 'in' with Davis is 'in' with you, and who's 'out' with Davis is 'out' with you. (Just as with his changing doctrine and rules!) 'Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.' (1 Peter 1:22) In the end, getting 'all-the-way-in or all-the-way-out' becomes an ever-tighter whirlpool of loyalty focusing more and more on Davis himself, even above the rest of the NTCC 'Family', where he becomes the central focus of your christianity, church-success, and finally Christ Himself. |

Finally, the most pernicious and seductive separating tactic from your family (over and above God's will to abstain from the unbeliever's riotous living) is the 'Equality of Care' doctrine: "Why do ya'll spend so much time praying for your families?? God don't care more about your relatives than He does about other souls! Why don't you pray for them, and leave your family up to God?!" Davis: Graham 1) God DOES naturally care for your family and friends in YOUR life, than He does others, because YOU naturally do, and God is working through YOU for those YOU naturally care for! According to this pernicious example of super-feigned love and care for souls, no person on earth ought mean more to you concerning their spiritual condition than any other. And this plainly is not so, because Scripture directs us to love our spouses FIRST, even as Christ loves the church (Eph 5:25). Further, we are specifically to continue honoring mother & father, which is the FIRST commandment with promise of long life (Eph 6:2). 2) Jesus' own influence and outreach BEGAN with His family and local friends! And CONTINUED in His relationship with them throughout His ministry. Jesus would not allow personal family to dictate His ministry to others; however, Jesus was with His mother, and she with Him to the very end. It was part of His godly duty to HONOR mother & father, NOT because she nor his family members were in His 'Organization' of churches (!) 3) Though God certainly does not want us to serve Him according to the good pleasure of others, even family and friends, He has NEVER commanded nor practiced avoiding them like the plague, that would cause you to lose sight of your great 'soulwinning commission' to get more people into your great Leader's church! 4) And, of course, this doctrine and rule of 'Equality of Care' is not kept by Davis nor his leaders: "The first person I pray for when I wake up in the morning is Pastor!" Olson: Loyalty Conference (And then Kekel, then Grant... The First Family Line of Succession) And no objection at all from Davis. Why waste your time worrying about your own family, when you can pray for Davis and his family?? In the kingdom of God the believer can never go wrong by putting God first. In the Organization of Davis the follower can never go wrong by putting Davis first. (And why? Well, because Davis was There First, of course!) The bottom business-line of Davis is: Only that which is done for his program, called Christ, is worth doing. EVERYTHING else is wasted time, better spent getting someone else out to his churches! It's the lust for souls to profit from, rather than the desire to see souls saved by Jesus. And NOBODY matters more than that to Davis, and so ought not to you. No, not family, friends, neighbors, bosses, etc... not even God Himself, if His Word gets in the way of Davis' personal rule! If you can be separated from family for the organization, then you can also be separated from spouse for the Organization Leader. Davis the Christ 'A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.' (Prov 16:28) Davis is beyond froward in his recruitment business, and his whole ministry cries out: 'Forsake all who do not join with me!' |
