I was just thinking, Is the organization in a rut? Is it stuck in the 50 or 60's. White shirts wing tips, the standards are often proped up by the way it was prior to WWII. You know women did not start working or wearing the pants until WWII.
I think the cheese has moved but the organization keeps going back to where they first found it.
Just a thought!

Ah yes, the glorious 1950s, when women and blacks knew their place and freethinkers were persecuted and imprisoned for asking questions about the government. That's what we need to return to.

I wouldn't promote this idea as fact without looking into it further. The notion that women did not work for wages until WWII is erroneous, although there was definitely an influx of women into the workforce at that time. Women have been working in various capacities outside the home since Colonial times and earlier, and they were heavily employed in the manufacturing and textile industries since industrialism emerged in the 18th century.

Charger - this next comment is not necessarily directed at you in particular, but to readers in general: If you are depending on the information provided by your NTCC "education" to frame your view of the world and of history, you will have a warped and deficient perspective. NTCC fosters an anti-intellectual climate in which the rank and file members are expected to accept a view of history that justifies their peculiar distinctives.

There is a huge difference between education and indoctrination, and the latter is what you receive at NTCC's Graham Compound. It's not until people get out that they are actually free to learn without the burden of filtering everything through the narrow and distorted lens of their group.

On the subject of education: it's interesting that Davis claims the title of "Doctor" while mocking and deriding those among his ministers who want to pursue additional education. (Or has that changed?) I recall that he was forever ragging on people for not improving themselves, but the realities of life in his organization deny them the opportunity. What a tortured existence.

Mklo.
No offense taken. If we are Christians we won't be offended anyway. I am sure you have heard that.
I was only making reference to what we have all heard.
