Dave M. It has come full circle like you predicted. I say the Holy Spirit does his job no matter what. I have been waiting almost a decade for what is happening today and tomorrow. Somebody to be confronted with telling the truth. You should have bet me. You would have at least won a dollar. Neil |

Well Neil, we know that God is faithful. Without regard to what others think.

Yes neil, "in Christ". Through all the struggles and trails "in Christ" is the place to be. Our high tower and strength. Our ability when we are not able is found only In Christ. I enjoyed that blog. } |

Last 3 years of my life has been hard in a million ways and I can tell you that the day it really went strange was the day The Baltimore Sun editor called me before the story was given to Frank. Originally they had planned on giving the story to crime or court investigator/writer. Since the earliest and I mean prior to me even leaving GGWO in 98 what I wanted was for the group/ministry to set out a path for redemption, restoration, and what its needed since its time of creation, the ability to repent from wrong doing. Ministries that mess up big time, some of these mega churches that have had scandals like GGWO know how to at least go to the pulpit, the radio show, the tv show and say, we are sorry, we will stop doing this. Why there is a mentality that when you are a leader at GGWO you can never say I am sorry we were wrong. I have heard we are sorry if you FEEL bad, but not we are wrong. I saw this episode with Dr. Phil, where he had this judgmental people. About the worst was a so called Christian. A Pastor asked her what her concept of grace was? GGWO can name itself after a verse related to more and more grace abounding more so than sin, but it can't even admit that it has sinned? Where is the grace? It by every definition has no grace. Not any towards others or itself. IN GGWO heads its not I die to myself everyday, its I prosper and become more perfect everyday, in fact I am not capable of sin unless I move away from the ministry and God. I have not see my wife, spoken to her, and even had so much as a phone call with her in 2 years going on 3. GGWO teaches and believes isolation and marking people is a good thing. Including with children. Nobody buys this who is in real Christianity, nobody buys this in Psychology, nobody buys this in courts. I seen moms who have stab their husbands keep their children. My current Judge in Michigan balked at the idea of the events of who was involved in my family situation. My doctor knew of Carl Stevens before I said his name. Dear God we are in Michigan. http://ggwoinfo.wordpress.com/keri-carrick-factnet-post/ I have no doubt my ex doesn't want to speak to me on her own. She has had 15+ years of teaching that says this is what God wants, this is Godly. When you read Keri's public letter she talks about how GGWO encouraged her to not speak to me in 2001. I seen this with spouses, children, families in GGWO. I can name tons of people who were encouraged to let go of their children because of their relationship against the ministry. At the end of the day you have to hope and believe that our faith wins out, that Jesus really is there. Ironically Paul Stevens made this comment to me in 96, and he said something to the effect of" or the rest of the religions have it right and we got it wrong, and I mean come on as a religion ours is the craziest on the surface, a God who die for us, and we don't have to do something to earn it" This may sound like typical evangelicals thinking buts its not. What Christian thinks his relgion isn't sensible? I don't! I am driven by logic and frankly our faith is not logic bound. |

Just think you if you tried naming families starting before Alan Lang and go to other people after who were isolated by GGWO. GGWO would sound off on things like the persons responsibility for it happening like adultery. Kent Sutorius told me what happened to him with John Hadley and Ed Lutz at the airport when he came home. I never heard the story about the Langs at this point. Then weeks later I got a call while people were screaming at each other in both the Hallway at GGWO and MBCS at almost the same time. These were huge fights and people who knew each other for decades, went to school with one another, graduated, served on missionary fields, their kids married one another! And you want to try and convince me it was about their sins that made this flash points. Ever seen a man black mailed? Extorted? His existence threatened? Maybe thats normal in your church, its not in mine but I worked for one who thought it was normal, in fact it was Godly to them. I'll say it again I do all I could to make sure my kids knew their mom even if she was horrible. If I knew my children didn't like my church, and it caused my family so much grief I find another church before forsaking them. God doesn't ask us to forsake our families for a ministry. He asks us to forsake everything before him because of his sacrifice. No Pastor went to the cross for me. I have heard it said. That Pastor...goes to the cross everyday for his congregation. No he doesn't. You believe in the Finished Work of Christ and you preach a man has to go to the cross other than Jesus? What BS. |

That's the problem with man made ministry. Instead of God directing the congregation you have "one" man which is not even Biblical (and He gave some Pastors."Plural" not singular),standing as God to direct God's people instead of leading them to an independent relationship that makes them stand in the position of believer priest as it should be. The church as a whole in it's functioning is out of line with the Word of God whenever any man has any perceived position above another body member. There may be levels of understanding but there are no levels of superiority in the Spirit since the same Spirit is what is in operation in every believer as they work through the gifts and calling of God led by the Spirit ,not man. 1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. So we see that the doctrine of levels or classes of Christians taught by GGWO is not of God but of men with agendas. Men that do not discern the body. } |

Dave, I spent most of the last 3 weeks in the hospital. Lets just say I am begining to understand the dynamics of beta blockers. But I sat back and read some of the posts from 2004 especially around June. Its incredible what happened then. I have many kids to think of, and it blows my mind that to this day I am marked by this ministry and that people think these folks are Christians. I wonder how I will be spoken of once I am gone. "Oh Neil was a really sweet crazy guy, he just went against the ministry and his heart exploded". But praise God he knew Jesus because of the ministry." Ugh. Praise God I knew Jesus because the Holy Spirit! My parents and even Jerry. Not the high heel orange toupee side show. Take a poloraid as my dad would say. |
