Does anyone know about this organization. Word is the church has dwindled to almost an ineffective state. Former members discuss cult-like traits. Such as hyper-shepherding and control. One former member stated pastor required members to ask permission to marry, sell property, make large personal decisions. Additionally, pastor knowingly caused members to be 'in-submission' to pastor. Whatever that means. Also, Gerry keeps a group of close 'YES' men around him and maintains a small core group of long-time church members as Yes support. Also, frequently distorting scripture and invoking the 'double-honor' tag to brainwash and maintain control on members. |

In a meeting with former NLCC members it was mentioned that this pastor actually had known satanic followers doing various ministries in the church. Also, the pastor here has used legalism to control the flock. That is fairly typical in churches now-a-days! Ken Gerry is to be avoided at all costs. He is destructive and he has a anger spirit that is beyond the scope of what is appropriate for a sincere pastor. WFCT |

I hope KG is not a cult, I’ve heard bad things about cults. I remember one that gave out poisoned kool-ade, pretending it was electric kool-ade (why else drink kool-ade? lol). Can we have electric kool-ade at communion or we could bake it right into the wafers. Gotta have wafers at communion, kg, scottish shortbread with choc. chips, as many as you want! Throw them at people as they enter, they can catch them in their top hats! (Make a note, top hats required at services from now on) \. Don’t worry about the details, rb, High Priestess Kendra will get the liturgies just right |

Isn't NLCC a spliter off of CFCMI aka: FCFC aka: Christian Fellowship Church? Check out www.abusivechurches.org. You may find this NLCC listed by one of the posters somewhere. I think I remember it being mentioned there. PS: I may have been thinking of New Beginnings Christian Ministries, but NLCC still sounds just like Christian Fellowship Church. God Bless!
