You'll like the first 2/3rds of this but as you watch the the last 3rd your delusion will make you bare arms, defend and rationalize your own delusion!

Sorry for all the links but this stuff is too good not to share... Thats if you are open minded and want to use your critical thinking skills or at least learn what it means to "seek out" knowledge and understanding and not just think as your told to think....

Naba, when I read your last few posts, I could not help but think how many times "Faith" lived have changed an "Open" unbelieving "Heart and mind."

But someone like Dawkins thinks his mind and its conclusions are the answer. If he had the authority, he would dictate his own religion "science" to those children in the video and us.

It has been my experience that the urge to save humanity from something, is often a front/disguise to control or enslave that humanity.

This includes religion and global warming.

i.e.; global warming is happening.
It is from the Sun or Son.
It really doesn’t matter, because it's bigger than we can have an effect on.

Many of these type of persons I have met over the yrs either do not have a full time job or have a full time job that does not require them to produce anything except more of their own unproductive thoughts.
Many of these people are politicians, clergy, pofessors, activists etc...

If they had to do actual work, they would have little time for things they think make them more important than the rest of us, or to save humanity by controlling it.

The Greater problem now days are all the electronics’ available for use.

i.e.; my space, face book, blog and endless posts/postings, make people feel like they are special, making a difference.
When in reality, all is vanity. (Though I do believe we are all special/unique in our own individual created beings) still, all is vanity, so the preacher says.....

Anyway, the real life/world is calling me.
I have things to do. That really do make a difference, even if in some minds its insignificant.

Peace my friend.
ps, if you have the time, do a study on HOW the test for global warming are conducted and WHO is conducting them.. Very interesting stuff.

I think Neil Bortz has some good stuff on it but since it is all Bush’s fault anyway what does it matter??! LOL! (Don’t worry i am no bush supporter!) LOL!

Kinda scary that it's prophesied thet the earth would be destroyed by fire aye?

I read even a study out of Switzerland that even if we stopped all green house CO2 right now we will still have a 4 to 5 meter increase in the sea level by 2015!

Who knows? Their calculations change every month but it seems like it's excelerating beyond their earlier predictions. You would think the oil people sure dont want that known!

Any way your right. Faith without works is dead, even if its faith in humanity!

You can only do what you can but you can make a difference!

There was a young man walking down a deserted beach just before dawn. In the distance he saw a frail old man. As he approached the old man, he saw him picking up stranded starfish and throwing them back into the sea. The young man gazed in wonder as the old man again and again threw the small starfish from the sand to the water. He asked, “Old man, why do you spend so much energy doing what seems to be a waste of time.” The old man explained that the stranded starfish would die if left in the morning sun. “But there must be thousands of beaches and millions of starfish!” exclaimed the young man. “How can you make a difference?” The old man looked at the small starfish in his hand and as he threw it to the safety of the sea, he said, “It makes a difference to this one!”

and one better!!!

There was a frail man walking down a deserted beach just before sunset. In the distance he saw a young boy. As he approached the young boy, the old man saw him pulling a net into the sea. The old man gazed in wonder as the boy pulled, and pulled, and pulled. The old man asked, “Young boy, why are you spending so much energy pulling your net into the sea? There are no fish there.” The young boy explained that the net would keep the starfish from washing onto the beach that night and dying in the morning sun. “But young boy,” replied the old man, “nice people spend their mornings throwing the starfish back into the sea.” “Yes,” said the boy, “but there are thousands of beaches and millions of starfish! Are they able to reach every one?” The old man looked out to sea and imagined all the starfish that would wash onto the beach that night. After a while, he helped the boy pull his net into the sea and exclaimed, “Your net makes a difference for every one!”
