By revival I mean a renewing and a refreshing of the natural occurrences of the fruit of the spirit.

Do they need that type of revival?

Do they also need reviving in showing affection while the preachers are correcting and instructing?

Do they also need reviving in the way that some preachers are quick to go into a seemingly unprovoked frenzy and a rage to take out pent up aggression?

Do they also need reviving in preaching about good sound morals and conflict resolution, rather then conflict instigation?

Please cast a yes or no vote and post as you see fit. I am conducting this vote and will tally the results when I see fit. One vote per person, and please word it as this

i.e. I vote yes (insert dialog from voter)
or
i.e. I vote no (insert dialog from voter)

My question is, Were they ever "vived" in the first place that they need a re-"viving" now?

I don't think they were ever "vived". That's my vote.

Is the ministerial force behind NTCC responsible or guilty by association for all the faults that need revising within this org?

Some one please provide a scripture reference to support this, I can't find it.

To every member of NTCC or HOP, you are a member in faith just as they minister to you in faith, therefore what ever they tell you to do, that is what you should do and follow. but do not emulate their poor behaviors. Also do not willing transgress the will of God, to do the bidding of the minister that is over you.

And do not begrudge these heavy burdens for it needs be as such for now.

remain faithful I know you do so as you would unto God. Let them not cause you to be weary of well doing.

Yes, by faith upon our good conscience in Christ, we do not have to obey men rather than God.

This is freedom that is extended unto those who are able to understand the truth. Do not be swayed from the truth if it be revealed unto you by Jesus.

If you choose to remain in the care of NTCC or HOP then you choose to be subject to them, and you would need to be a good servant to them and to God. BUT God first.

Your question is worded awkwardly, but... If it's not the ministry that's responsible for the culture of the organization, then who or what is?

quote:

And do not begrudge these heavy burdens for it needs be as such for now.

It doesn't needs be as such — not now, and not ever. Jesus said his yoke is easy, and his burden light. "These heavy burdens" are not of God and should be rejected. Those who carry them will inevitably load them onto others as well. (See previous point.) There are options. Those who are tired of being ground down, condemned and humiliated for doing their best should just leave — like so many have and continue to do.

I heard of two more ministers and their families who made the break within the past week or so.

Hey Mick, your last sentence in the above post caused me to think about something.

You mentioned how that they keep on leaving NTCC.

I've asked those who are going to attend the conference to look around and see who is missing.

Then it hit me...boom!...they are having the confernce in Graham. Even though they periodically have conferences in Graham...I think it will help hide the fact that so many are missing.

What I mean is, it will not be so obvious.

It will actually make it look like there are more than there really are still in the Org.

It will make the Fellowship Hall in Graham and the Lecture Hall too... (I've heard enough "lectures", thank you very much)...look very packed. Along with...the church.

I hope that the brethren who are planning to attend this conference...(all the way in Graham)..will take the opportunity to break free from the crowded fellowship...(which will actually enable you to do so...hopefully you can slip out without being noticed)...so that you can go be alone somewhere with your friends, family or just yourself.

Then, you too, can join the "many" who are leaving the "few". The numbers get punier all the time.

I thank the Lord for it too.

there needs to be a public announcement made just before conference. This announcement should encourage everyone in the community to go to the people attending the conference in Graham and invite them back to reality. Love bombing should be used to bring them back to the reality cult.

this would hopefully save some people from the illusion cult, where nothing is as it really seems . subordinates need to rely on some superior ranking illusionist to filter, twist and approve their individual judgment.

"therefore what ever they tell you to do, that is what you should do and follow."

Actually.. wrong. A Pastor is not a boss. He does not pay you. He is not the military. And the Pastor is supposed to be a servant to the people not an overlord.

thank you for the correction. I agree completely, however some people don't have the courage to get away from the abuse and what shall I do to them? I don't want to convict those people into thinking they are wicked sinners that can't do right because they choose to stay.

there again is the freedom in their hour of imprisonment. There should be no condemnation for choosing to be loyal to the calling that called unto them. For example the sincerely ignorant followers that loyaly follow these abusive Tax collecting Lords.

For these innocent do so as they would unto Jesus. Just let them take heed lest they fall and spew forth the snakes venom that is being pumped into their brains and their hearts. For they will make an account for every idle word.

Knowing this, how extremely difficult it is to keep from falling to the way side in such imprisonment with chains of restriction binding every spiritual prompting.

I realize how expedient it is to save such prisoners. However it is difficult to up root with out having the tree die.

Therefore some of those trees that have not been completely morphed into thorns and thistles need to gird their loins in truth, and walk in the same vocation in which they were called.

That means to step out in faith and walk away from such imprisonment that levy s one soul bound in chains to the Highly exalted status of a man that chooses to get drunk from wine while drinking from God's cup. Such man arrogantly defiles holiness (truth).

Scripture for the practical effect of spiritual Leaders? (Rom 11:16)

Michael, you're missing a little on (Matthew 23:2-3)

The Israelites were to do as they say who sit in Moses' seat if they minister Moses' law, NOT if they minister their own commandments.

'If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.' (Deut 13:1-3)

And Jesus' sheep ought only obey His voice, which is known by the Scriptures. So if the Bible verfies that what we are told is so, then do so as unto the Lord, because it is His Word being followed, even if preached by otherwise false Leaders...

What you are saying is, People are free to assemble where they wish, and if a believer can stay in cultish churches without getting caught up in their false doctrines and programs, so be it.

However, if anyone obeys and works their falsehoods, then they are just as guilty, even as we were, for taking pleasure in them that teach such things (Rom 1:32) and so falling into the same ditch with them. (Matthew 15:14)

And ignorance truly is no excuse, but even as Saul of Tarsus recieved mercy due to ignorantly erring by unbelief, so can others in a cult.

However, it is not God that leads into such places, but rather it is God who suffers His people to be there and winks at it, until He commands personal repentance and separation from such things.

It was the devil who seduced us in, but it is God who leads us out! And He suffers our ignorance in the mean time, giving us space to repent... (Whether it be in Davis' cult, our own besetting sin, or some other unequal yoking in our lives)

you are right derrick.

But how are people able to discern in such a situation where these ministers so strongly claim and make claim to work for God. These people are taken advantage of by being forced into loyalty. Those who remain will be abused all the more for the truth that we speak of. The truth of not having to follow false doctrines.

These loyal members will be deceived into calling God's calling a seducing spirit.

these ministers are extremely bold and make claims to be covered by the banner of God. They claim sanctuary for all their preaching. Such extreme boldness conquers the will of others. Those who are loyal will not be suffered to leave. I do not want to appear as the other half of ntcc's preaching that any who try to lead them away are devils.

So because of the twisting of the truth that you have brought to light so vividly and clearly, Davis is the loyalists christ. Davis has more credibility in his followers eyes then I do.

I guess I am just perplexed by the situation. I am glad that you remain so steady and well paced in this matter derrick.

the first things a Tax collecting lord wants to get rid of is individualism.

Individual thought, judgment, insight, discernment, and spiritual promptings.

after these are stripped away and absolute loyalism is installed (loyalism to his program above loyalism to God). Then he can reign supreme and any one not conformed to his delusions and his Holiness (Haughty Highness), will be beaten, stripped of honor, and stricken from his book of salvation.

Davis deals in absolutes because he is a controlling mean man.

...a controlling mean man. Well-said. (Maniacally so)

howdy brian,

all this junk your spewing. and your talking about a real revival, you need one and your cronies. where is the love. just suppose, you have to think now, this was for a moment even the slightest bit truth, shouldn't you(seemingly) the leader of this, (whatever you call it) be talking, professing, possessing love, forgiveness, mercy, kindness. all that is coming out of you is vicious hate, and you want to say your right with God. how can these things be. how about little james here, can bitter water and sweet water come from the same foundation. LOOK AT WHAT IT SAID, BRETHREN THESE THINGS OUGHT NOT TO BE. and on the other hand if they were true, shouldn't you a godly christian be preaching, teaching, the same thing. something is seriously wrong here. now you can attack me, but attack jesus on this one and show me how this doesn't apply. i'm still holding out hope for you, like i said on another post, i love you guys, not because the bible tells me so, but because i do. it seems here you are the one hurting, bitterness, and hatred. i've been around for a while, and anyone else can feel it through the screen. so rev-vive yourself please. thanks}}}

What are you talking about? Brian hasn't even posted on this thread, and you feel compelled to jack him up? Typical NTCC "love" you are showing.

It's hilarious seeing you attack someone for attacking those who attack others. What makes you so much better? Are your attacks somehow "holier" than Brian's?

hey vic,

this is from another thread, in which he didn't answer so i am continuing. i see you read the thread, so like a true sinner you attack me, instead of l istening to the word of God, very typical. you can't answer the question either. love the sinner but hate the sin. you got it wrong to. you hate the sinner as well as the sin. i guess you can't expect to much at this time from you. haven't been reading the bible much. well 1 out of 2 ain't bad. got to go vic. i pray for you, do me a favor and pray for me, after all the bible said love your enemies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What question did I fail to answer?

And why indeed has no one ever asked Davis how a man can call himself godly and be such a cruel jerk a the same time? The reason is clear; he has you brainwashed to think that hardness is a prophetic trait, that a tough skin is the hallmark of the real christian, and that rebuke is the chief role of the ministry.

Well, guess what? RW Davis is wrrr-rr-rrr-rrrong.

Wow, so many exclamation points. I'm really intimidated. Why do you think I regard you as an enemy? And that's an amazing gift of discernment you must have, to be so familiar with my inner motives. Thanks for the prayer, though, but I don't feel the love you claim.

Yes, it most certainly does. And the States they operate in need to take a look at the State level of government.

brian,
sorry it to took long to get back to you, i apologize. let's clarify, here we go. if our leaders are wrong, you as a God loving man, should you not be asking for forgiveness, love and mercy, and if there right should it not be the same, i read in one of your posts you called rev. davis a pig, come on now is that love, sounds like hate, your suppose to love (if he's wrong)the sinner. is that what you call love. then i am badly mistaken. i remember in a conversation with you concerning (curry) you said, i repeat you said every time pastor preached about something that got to him, the corner of his mouth, (muscle would have a little reflex) and then you knew he was caught. has your corner of your mouth moved at all? or are you above this. consider vic got into this, hey victor will you pray for me? considering i'm very disillusioned, i need your prayers, and for God to open mine eyes. after all the bible does say pray for your enemies. brian you have been told that if your full of God then you can't be full of anthing else. why then all the hate? give me scriptural grounds for this, enlighten me if you would.

"...i need your prayers, and for God to open mine eyes. after all the bible does say pray for your enemies."

My prayer is that all who are trapped in the gulag which is NTCC are delivered. That would include you. But you are quite mistaken if you think I regard you as my enemy.

I also find it interesting that, along with most NTCC loyalists, you won't step up to the plate and defend your leaders without assuming the cloak of anonymity. It certainly damages your credibility. Are you afraid?

To: SeeThru:

Are you a minister in NTCC?

Do you live in the New York/New Jersey area?

IN typical...oh so typical fashion...you call anything that is not gushing loyalty of Davis and his organization...hate.

Is a man a pig if he acts like a pig?

You assume that because the wickedness of this organization is posted here...that there is no love or forgiveness or mercy, etc.

That attitude is nothing but judgemental and ignorant. (I mean ignorant in a nice, loving manner, of course).

Your assumptions must be dealt with before your questions can be answered.

You assume that if someone is posting on this forum...then...they HATE.

You also assume that if they post to this forum...then...there is an absence of love, mercy and forgiveness in their lives.

We are presenting evidence...that's all.

We are being witnesses to what we have experienced...and if you are a minister or a church member in NTCC...then you've seen all of what we are talking about also. You just haven't made the LEAP to admit it as we all have.

You also have made the false assumption that those who post here are automatically your enemies.

Do you understand why you think this way?

you've been programmed to do so...just as we all were.

You think it isn't love to expose the evil in a so-called Christian organization...yet you will gladly allow Davis to expose the sins of an individual by name...over the pulpit and yell and scream at him...and you will say he loves the man because he is trying to help him...when all he is doing is humiliating the man...which is just one of many forms of manipulation which he uses to get money and power.

Then why not accept our exposing of Davis' sins and corruption in the same manner? IN love?

Examine your assumptions.

You are no different than all the others from NTCC who have come out here spewing their sarcasm ("...pray for me...I need your prayers...)...and in their patronizingly superior manner...have "preached" to those of us on this forum about what we NEED (...salvation, and love and the like...or in your example: "you hate the sinner as well as the sin. i guess you can't expect to much at this time from you. haven't been reading the bible much. well 1 out of 2 ain't bad. got to go vic. i pray for you, do me a favor and pray for me, after all the bible said love your enemies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I KNOW MANY OF THE FOLKS ON THIS FORUM...AND I CAN'T THINK OF ANYONE WHO HAS EVER, EVER MADE REFERENCE TO THOSE WHO POST IN FAVOR OF NTCC...as their enemies...no one.

I KNOW MANY OF THE FOLKS ON THIS FORUM...AND I CAN'T THINK OF ANYONE WHO HAS EVER, EVER made reference to the fact that those posting for the organization are anything but self-deceived and who have learned to regularly repress their doubts and questions about the organization.

But, regularly...those of us who post on this forum are rerfered to as "our enemies" by those in NTCC and from over the pulpit.

I'm looking over conference notes I have from May 2005...and Davis began his first teaching making reference to those on Factnet in this manner.

Your BEHAVIOR is that of a Pharisee. When you post with a username such as "seethru", I have to say...it's as if we can hear you coming...the bells ringing on the bottom of your flowing robes...and the smell of your pomegranates wafting in the air. We know what's coming.

From my point of view...the "seethru" refers to the fact that we can see through your postings to the fact that you need to figure out why you feel the need to read Factnet in the first place?

Is it not your doubts and disgust with your life in NTCC? Is it not that you are just sick and tired of seeing the lives of those you love and care about wrecked on the rocks of Davis' insane doctrines and policies?

It's been said before that those that defend the "hearty-est"...are those who are just about ready to depart. Do you fit this profile?

It's self-examination time "seethru".

I hope and pray (and I really do...no sarcasm intended)...that you do finally see through to the truth and leave...as you very likely will...and that...very soon.

Tracy

tracy, hello,
i have been nice and will continue to be nice. no, and i have to admit i am not a pharisee. that was a good one i laughed at it. ok so you are attempting to open the organization. but some of the filth, (not neccessarily yours) that comes out, lacks, let me see---any real sign of christianity. this is all i'm getting at. the filth, purtrid, rancid stuff that comes out, and your trying to take the higher road. some how,(i'm scratching my head) just doesn't make sense. and if i'm wrong pray for me, and i'm asking you to, pray for me, NO SARCASM INTENDED. so don't take it that way. yes i am a minister. no i am not gushing loyality to the organization, i'm just saying clean it up, we as christians,(that's what we claim)from the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh. i'm going to be really real with you, when you were in washingtion, we were the best of friends, and i want to say still are. but something has changed. tell me what it is. you claim i'll finally see all this through, but if it makes me like you've become, then sorry i don't want that. i like the way that i am. yes i am loyal to God, but because of that love for God, helps me be loyal to the organization, but let me say this, i am an individual, and nobody runs my life 24/7. last summer, my wife and i, and some church members went to the zoo (gasp) we went to a christmas program. (double gasp) i've went to other churches, and heard other preachers preach. (i feel a heart attack coming on). my wife last summer to see her family. hey all this without permission. oh my heavens. pastor taught a class back in the early 90's about free thinking. that's what i've done, i can think for myself. i have no one breathing down my neck, in fact i get a phone call from the leader every once in a while, but they ain't asking me about if i'm playing by the rules, just checking how i'm doing. maybe you felt you were all alone, well i'm not and don't feel alone. i have no hard feelings toward you or your husband. i just want us, i say us, to be on friendly terms. i hold no bitterness, or illwill toward you. please if you feel that way, i personally apologize right now, i'm sorry. here on the internet to you and your husband. i just don't like the way it's becoming, and in this corner, weighting................! i'd like to talk with you guys face to face one day. i have vaction coming up, maybe we can meet halfway, and continue to be friends. your brother in christ

blah, blah, blah.

Same old rhetoric.

You are not an individual.

Your life is being run by the organization. That goes without saying.

What is IT that I've become.

You don't like the way WHAT is becoming?

I wish you would be more specific. Your vagueness...is just too...VAGUE!

How can we meet halfway...

Halfway to where...???

And with whom...???

I would like to do that...no matter who you are...but it would make it much easier to find you in a crowd. Although...I'll probably hear your bells and see your robe.

Dear See Thru...

I hate to be laying all of this homework in your lap today, but I have a few other questions for you:

Are you a minister who has had to go and take over a church for someone who has resigned?

And, what do you personally make of all the resignations in the last two years or so?

Are we all just crossed up with God?

Do you personally believe that one can leave NTCC and be right with God?

And, if you did all the things you say you did in your post without permission...then you have been disobedient to what you've been told.

And what in the world are talking about with Free Thinking? I think you are able to freely choose which bread you want to buy, and the like...but that hardly qualifies you for free thinking.

Also, what is your name, Mr. Free Thinker? Since no one runs your life, but you and God...what is your name?

To Mr. See Thru:

You said:

"...i get a phone call from the leader every once in a while, but they ain't asking me about if i'm playing by the rules, just checking how i'm doing"

FIRST OF ALL...WHO IS: "The Leader"

SECOND OF ALL...don't you realize...after 22 years...that these phone calls are used to check up on you alright, but not in the way you think.

Did you tell THE LEADER...when he called...that you visited other preachers to hear them preach?

When did you do this with the full schedule the churches have to adhere to?

Did you do this on your only night off...on Monday?

When in the world could you have had the time to visit other preachers.

Did you know that Kekel wouldn't even give me permission to go to a Puppet Workshop...so that I could better myself in children's church...because he said..."what can the Baptists teach you?"

He didn't even have a clue...even though I made it perfectly clear...that the Baptist church was not teaching it...they were only hosting it.

But, he didn't even want me in another organization's church for a CRAZY PUPPET...A PUPPET...WORKSHOP. Good golly man, get a clue here.

Did you tell THE LEADER THAT YOU WENT TO HEAR ANOTHER PREACHER PREACH?

Mr. Free Thinker and Mr. Free Do-er...did you tell him?

Come on here...you didn't tell THE LEADER...why not? What were you afraid of?

And, you don't dare say who you are now...because then...the cat is out of the bag.

But, they can tell where you are posting from. Just as they could with Steve Bellman when he was posting as Charger back in December. They knew who he was.

And, they know who you are too.

The only ones who you do not have to be afraid of...which is all of us who are out of NTCC...we are the ones who do not know.

You know who you are.

God knows who you are.

THE LEADER and his group know who you are.

I don't know who you are.

Your ISP address seems to indicate somewhere in New York or New Jersey.

Well, those who are pastoring in those locations...according to the NTCC website...(which we know though may not be the greatest resource for much of anything)...do not fit your description of yourself.
