Johnny: Why not use the time you spend watching documentaries about the RCC who you've already made your mind up about (and believe me I'm not fond of the RCC myself either), to actually instead pray for these people? Would you pray for the people in the Roman Catholic Church? Would you pray for the priests? I believe that it is probably quite rare that people pray for such people because they are considered as vile dispicable sinners who deserve to go to hell. I actually think it is extremely fruitful to pray for such people because I am also a vile despicable sinner who deserved to go to hell. The Lord Jesus, when He was hanging upon the cross, prayed for those people who put Him there. To often we waste our time trying to throw mud in people's faces. We waste our time trying to expose how sinful and rotten people are. We waste our time trying to prove how they are going to hell and we are not. This is not Christian charity. We ought to pray for our "enemies". Pray for all sinners. Pray for the Lord to bind Satan and to realease these ones and grant them the grace of His salvation. |
