In no way does this posting or thread make you special.....
I think if I were you I would look at Waggys posting and consider taking a poll as to what effects GCC had on staff and students and GCC staff kids from late 70's through the 90's.
I would also consider all the information in Father Haigs book and all the connections on this forum that CLEARLY link GCC and COFJ. I dunno how long it would take... it might take you weeks or more to really delve into what is being said here.
I agree thread tittles are misleading and it would be time consuming. But, before you continue to bolster your "rah rah... line that we are all spoiled and whinning adults" you need to break down and examine the information and read and comphrehend all of it. Not just the random postings that you choose.
I don't know what your professional path is these days... I don't know how well you research and or what your reading comphrehension level is. But, we all generally agree we got an education, we all agree we ate well, we all agree that tatics used were freakish and it progressed. I saw GCC when it was a tiny community to its self and so did Waggy and Tabby, although the year I was introduced Tabby graduated...But Waggy and I watched a progression till 84 when we graduated. The kids apres us saw the lines skewing even more. Staff and staff kids are posting here.... People were born there ....
How many people including Mrs. Childs apology and admittance do you need before you will even consider any of this?? How many people have tried when you began posting to see your side and validate and then tell you their own side? How much of this is game to you and how much is because you feel left out? How much is you feeling like you have to defend people who don't even have the kahunas to come here and try and defend themselves?
Facts have been posted here with ties to both institutions...printed words. Books, articles and other web sites.... Get that in your pipe and understand it.
Wayne, I am not going to tell you that God has wrath, because that is the God that GCC and COFJ taught me about. And, a god who frigthend me and I forsaked for many years. I am not going to tell you how to feel or that your feelings are wrong because that is a GCC and COFJ thing to do. And, that is horrorr I lived with for 23 years upon my graduation of GCC.
I am going to tell you that PART OF MY HEALING expereince that you want to see is summed up in my above paragraph. Telling people and forcing people to see your way is wrong... I am moving on from that expereince by not jumping on you the way I was jumped on. I may make suggestions and agree with another persons feelings a long the way. But, I will sit and be paitent and pray that perhaps you see some truth and light.
What you do son is ultimately your choice and if God steps in then again my prayers will be answered. Again, a new thing I will have to be grateful for. Again, another thing that has contributed to my healing. But, I can't tell you and I can't tell God what to do.
This forum is here and it is free and we will use it and pave the way for others. If one nay sayer or two come along ... then that is only a few in an army of supportive people. It heals and it validates and it gives people a chance to unburden their heart and understand themsleves so much better. Should you choose to block the way... hey... we are an army of light and an army of love and that always previals.

God wants love and healing and he will get it and so will all those who come aboard if they want it.....
