I am a former student of GCC. I am now a lawyer in the Toronto area. I am thinking of having my office starting a classw action lawsuit with respect to all the allegations of abuse and the psychological damage it has caused to many people. I guess there is no one better than a former student. I need to know how many possible people would consider joining a class action if commenced. Please email me privately at mattlalande@gmail.com |

Christy Martin. Would there not be a conflict of interest? |

No, I would not be counsel on this matter. I recently found out that there is a law firm that is near retained on this. Thanks for the interest and all the emails, apart from the few psycho responses. |

in response to your emails, yes more than one firm can issue an action. Please email me if you wish with any questions you may have. I will keep everyone up to date if a suit is started. Investigation of damages sustained by former students, and where damages can ultimately be recovered from needs to be undertaken. I do know that there are presently 3 firms across the province also looking into the matter. I will not be posting anymore with respect to this subject. |

Just a quick question, I guess I don't understand how it would be structured. Many of the staff of the school (re: not all) were just as victimized as the students? Who exactly would the suit be brought against? |
