To facilitate people finding support in their area (and other alumni to help support them), I have created a new group on Facebook: FactNet.
This is a space for the anonymity to be left behind and for all of us to reach out to each other and begin the healing. No one else will understand the truth more than other students. Here is our chance to begin the healing within all of us.
This new group will be monitored and only GCC students (and the loved ones who support them) will be permitted to join. In addition, all chat areas are private to members only.

Everything on Facebook is all set up! Simply perform a Group Search for "FactNet" and on the main group page select "Join Group".
Please Note: FactNet on Facebook is a place for survivors (and their supporters) of Grenville Christian College to come and privately share stories and lend support to others. |

Hey everyone:
Because we're having some difficulty in identifying applicants to the group, please bear with us - if you're not accepted right away, please post here saying so - just include your initials and years attended. We'll poll the group members we have to find someone who knows you, and you'll be invited to join. We really appreciate your patience - workin' fast as we can, but we want the group to be secure for everyone and to have a space we can all trust. Until we figure out a faster, better way (and any suggestions would be appreciated) this'll have to do.

Hi Vancouver -- I joined and I am sure a few on here knows me lol...I attended GCC from 1976-1979. I have posted my name on here before...but will again.

Just joined the group no problem.
I was at GCC 1985-1988 as a boarding student. I live in London Ontario now. |
