Studying the words in the Bible has been a long-time favorite of mine, whether by the dictionary of the English words or by a Lexicon of the original language.
Studying the words in the original language are not necessary to prove the doctrine of Christ; however, it is an excellent help to clarify, enhance, and enliven many topics of religious and spiritual study.

'And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab...' (2 Sam 23:20)
1) Church-building Leaders, dominators of the faith, and conquerors of the people are Lionlike men of Moabite ministries. They are real 'Lionlikes'. Real lionlike in fame over others and in their own puffed-up minds. Real Lionlike roarers of the pulpiteering world.
2) Lionlike is from the word: ARIEL. Which in the Hebrew meant the 'Lion of God', and in the Greek comes from the prefix ARI-, which means to strengthen or to make better than (as in ARIstocracy) and the noun EL, which is for God or the Lord.
So ARIEL is to be stronger or better than God Himself. In like manner ARIELites would strengthen or make God's Word stronger and better than He wrote it Himself: to add to the Scriptures men's own great commandments and really holy rules: holier than thou's, Pharisees, Pentecosts. Real 'Lions of God' in the Organized religions of man...
Nowhere in Scripture is the title 'Lion of God' used for the good, neither as a name, title, nor character reference. So to be a 'Lion of God' is to set oneself up alongside and in opposition to the true Lion of the tribe of Judah: Jesus Christ.
'Lion of God' has rather the flavor of Arabic Muslims rather than of humble Christians.
Since Christians are made strong by the Word of God (1 John 2), then those great Leaders who add greater holiness standards to the Scriptures must thus be sronger and better than the average believer. And so such Leaders are the great Lions of God above and over the rest of the sheep, who are made their personal whelps, if they obey these Lionlike men of Moabitish ministries, rather than God and His Word only! (Acts 4:19,5:29)
ARIEL in Scripture is only spoken of as an object of judgment and condemnation. It is the name given for Jerusalem, when that religious city of God is in opposition to Himself. And in due time the religious rulers and Leaders of Judaism slew and killed the Lord Jesus in that same city of Jerusalem, or ARIEL.
So it is today in the capitol cities and headquarters of great holiness organizations, of which the greatest of them all (by their own claims and spirit) is in Graham, under the greatest and bestest Lionlike ruler of God on earth today in his Organization of personally loyal whelps: Davis of Moab. The most Moabitish, Lionlikest Leader of our Christian day!
These Organized Leaders are the Lionlike Lambs of God in their own right. They are wanna-be Lions of their own tribes of Christian Judah. They are exceeding Lion-like, but not lions at all, even as they wear for themselves gold-like crowns, but are not golden at all (Rev 9:7). They are great roaring lionlike Leaders going about establishing their own holiness and seeking whom they may devour in their own people business, by which they wear their great corwns of such foolish gold. |

'Woe to Ariel, to Ariel, the city where David dwelt! add ye year to year; let them kill sacrifices. Yet I will distress Ariel, and there shall be heaviness and sorrow: and it shall be unto me as Ariel.' (Isaiah 29:1-2)
So Davis adds yearly his own commandments and rules and burdens and programs to God's Word and upon God's people in his great Lion of God-like fashion, and he goes to get his rich and powerful reward by the sacrifices of his followers, even if it kills them! But it shall surely be to his own sorrow and dismay in the end (Heb 13:7).
For though he lift up himself and his Moabite ministry above all others for the sake of his Lion's-share profit. Like Moab himself, he shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord, though he lord it over other congregations made for himself and his glory and his honour.
Church-builders are ARIELian in their ministries, even as empire-builders are ORWELLian in their policies!
ARIEL is also an extra-biblical, or mystical angel to Jews and Christians. And so it is that the same false prophets, teachers, and ministers of corruption have usurped the rule and divinity of the Lord and Christ in both the Jews' and the Christians' religions to personally profit thereby.
There are the holy angels and there are the evil angels in Scripture, and then there are the ARIEL-angels in pulpits that add to the Scriptures their own Lionlike commandments to make themselves stronger than God Himself over the rest, that they might profit greater as gods themselves from the rest.
'Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.' (2 Thess 2:3-4)
ARIEL-christs, ACs, anti-christs: those who cause God's own people to fall away from Jesus Christ Himself in order to follow after other Lionlike and angelic gods, as loyal and obedient whelps, in obedience to their divine-like will for their own filthy yet gold-like profit. |

It's the same word used in 20:1, being decieved or entangled with wine and strong drink.
Cultish ministers are most known for their meddling in other peoples' affairs. being busybodies in other peoples' lives, families, and homes.
They are drunk on their own ministerial wine and self-importance.
SUMPLEKO: 1) to twine or plait together, also to twist or force together.
So cult-like meddlers purposely, forcefully twine and twist together the beleivers' faith, lives, and hopes in Christ and in this world with their own ministries!
Denis called his movement: Prayer Force. It is the attempt to succeed in Davis-style programs with a heavy reliance on prayer: i.e. to force God to force His people to force others into the Leader's church. (To 'spiritually' get more people into their churches and to make soulwinners out of them)
SUMPLEKO: 2) of wrestlers: to be locked together, to be engaged in a close struggle.
Cult-like meddlers twist and wrest the Scriptures to make their own programs over others, which quickly become wrestling matches with people to 'get them in'.
It's the confusing paradox of fighting with them you are trying to win! It's cultishly-entangled with the spiritual warfare of instructint those that oppose themselves (2 Tim 2:25). But all meekness and purity is lost in the twisted effort to get others to repent of sin AND of 'compromise' Christianity and acknowledge in themselves that Davis' holiness Organization is the true one on earth!
Contending for the faith (Jude) becomes a competition with other churches for success. The ones to be 'won to Christ' become prey to be found, struggled with, entangled in, and finally caught altogether as a new, loyal, practicing and serving member.
Bradeen called it 'Wrapping them up': to spend as much time with the new contact as possible and to get them into as many services and functions as possible, in order to more quickly make them full-fledged workers for the program. It was all done under the banner of preventing Satan from snatching their faith away, which included his cohorts of family, friends, neighbors, fellow-employees, bosses, and citizens in general. I.e. anyone who would interfere with the recruitment program.
Like a Python wrapping round a victim and squeezing all the individual guts and juices out fo them, so are these cultish vipers and meddling proselytizers (Matthew 3:7,23:15,23). |

Cultish Leaders make themselves false Christs by converting Christians into personal followers of themselves. By proselytizing doctrines and recruitment programs, they begin to make themselves First apostles, then Heads over their Organizational bodies.
They preach enough of the gospel for people to get saved and allow them a 'honeymoon' period, where they truly are walking in Jesus' steps. But then the Leaders and their lay-pastor, team-captain, soulwinner begin to move and creep in like the original serpent with feet and stomp around in the believer's life, so that Jesus' footsteps and that of the Leader become side-by-side, then entangled, and finally in a maze of confusion. The believer begins to walk in the steps of his Leaders rather than those of Jesus to the point of diverging and separating from the Lord altogether!
Rather than following a minister as he is of Christ, they begin to follow their Leader as a christ! (Matthew 24:24)
EMPLOKO: (Same root word as SUMPLEKO) To plait or weave together, to interweave. To weave artfully, to render perplexed.
From (1 Peter 3:3): 'Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel...'
As in being drunk on their own wine of ministry, so they are unsober & immodest in their own importance and display before others as Christian Leaders. By their subtle persuasions, forceful presentations, and serpent-like doctrines, they artfully interweave others into their christ-like programs.
They deck themselves out in gawdy displays of their own importance and successfulness, in order to entice others to join themselves to them.
Like spiritual and ministerial whores, and angelic figures with plaited, and enriched hair, they completely forsake the meek and quiet spirit of sincere and honest service of the saints for Jesus' sake. Rather they seduce, entangle, and perplex the people into their long locks, so that they are cultishly locked-in for life. They are spiritually, doctrinally, and loyally wrestled into it for the long-haul!
"Oh my, what loyal long locks you have!" As the new convert said to the angelic Leader and wolfe.
PLEKO: (Root word) To twine, twist, braid, weave, enfold, knit, devise, contrive...
From the gospels where the soldiers plaited a crown of thorns...
End of story. From twisting the Scriptures, to meddling in the personal affairs of the saints, to being drunk on one's own wine of ministry, to entangling and making a maze of Jesus' steps to become the Leader's personal path to follow by command, to putting on enriched displays of one's program, organization, and own importance: so it all ends with plaiting one's own crowning achievement of ministerial success and sticking it on the Head of the body. While promising liberty and strength and prosperity by THEIR ministry, they deliver twisted and hard thorns that cause Jesus' Headship to become a punctured, tangled, and bloody mess!
'And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.' (Matthew 25:40)
Apostates crucify their Lord afresh by returning to and becoming entangled again in their sins, and false Apostles bloody Jesus' Head afresh by turning others to and entangling them in their MEDDLING progams... |

(Note: the usual reference to this is that of the wars and rumors of wars in the last days, but John specifically links antichrists to the last days (1 John 2:18), and so I view the Scriptures here by Paul to be legitimate descriptions of antichrist characteristics and their ministerial effects on the church. So...)

1) Hard to bear, grievous.
Need we go any further? 'Hard (to bear) times' come to the church and believers that loyally obey false Leaders, antichrists, who make up their own programs for the people to foolishly labor in! Simply put: They make the way and service of Jesus Christ hard, rather than keeping it easy and light like Jesus does.
Hard-core Christs!
'For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.' (Matthew 23:4)
'For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.' (Acts 20:29)
These hard-to-bear burdens are so grievous for Christians, because they are pushed on them by the commandments of loved but false Leaders, when they came to Christ seeking rest for their souls.
God's commandments are not grievous to the faithful, but men's programs are to the loyal. And perilously hard-to-bear times are in store for them that obey men's commandments as God's! |

2) Sore, severe, ill-tempered.
Men's commandments and programs in the church make sores on the body of Christ. The antichrist preachers are sore at the people for not getting all-the-way in, and the people are sore at themselves for not succeeding at getting others all-the-way in.
They don't dare be sore at their Leaders, unless they cease to obey men's commandments and hold to the Head Jesus only. Then we are sore at them for seducing and using us, and we are sore at ourselves for having allowed it and even done it to others in the name of doing God service.
The sores are also the promised judgment of God against them that add to His Word and so shall recieve the plagues therein (Rev 16:2). Indeed such plagues include a noisome and grievous sore upon such beastly ministers:
Big mouths with big talk of God and His program sow hard sores upon the people and so reap noisome and grievous sores upon themselves!
TA KHALEPON TOU PNEUMATOS: The severity of the wind
Perilous times are for them who loyally ride the organizational boat as God's ship of salvation, because they will soon find themselves sore-tossed upon the higher seas churned up by the higher winds of severely-driven Leaders, that are higher and holier than they.
Neither Castor nor Pollux can even be compared to another one of Davis' Euroclydons!

3) Of Persons: Hard to deal with, difficult, troublesome, bitter, hostile, dangerous.
An entire anti-christian organization built by a false program of winning souls to church, rather than loving them to Christ!
Making everything and everyone hard to deal with: The people are labelled hard to deal with, because they are dealt with about church recruitment not submission to Jesus.
The sheep are troubled by hard-to-deal-with doctrines and programs of men dangerously pushed as the will of God, making the service of Christ a difficult long haul!
Indeed, their strife-filled & hostile ministries are continually creating false-warfare and rumors of up-coming wartimes by their suped-up doctrines and programs. There's danger and trouble on the left-hand and the right made-up by their ever-phony promises of revival, super-charged warnings of the Lord's imminent return, and bitter condemnations against 'compromise' of standards and 'slothfulness' of service.
Indeed it is truly the perilous times of antichristian egg-shell ministries! The great Leaders get the golden eggs, and the people get the trampled shells. And be very careful that you do not transgress the traditions of your Organizational Father; otherwise you must needs deal with that fella in the office: Davis the Dangerous!
Antichrists handle the Word of life decietfully and deal the sheep a hard hand of troublesome service, but Jesus' only deal is a kind one! (Luke 6:35)(1 Cor 13:4)(1 John 1:1)
'I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.' (Gal 1:6-7)

Scarlet: KOKKOS
1) A kernel, a berry, especially the Kermesberry used to dye scarlet.
(The scarlet colour was used by God specifically for service in His tabernacle, the holiest of the holies vail, the sanctifying of the people after reading the Law, the cleansing of leprosy, etc... The color scarlet has been referred to as the color of deep sins, the profit of kings, the promotion of Babylon, the color of the valiant and haughty, etc... A scarlet robe was put on Jesus as mockery of His kingship and ministry to the Jews...)
And so, antichrists cultishly wrap themselves and their followers with their own blood-stained programs as the clothing of Jesus' service.
The evil-effect upon such proselytized and recruited sheep is the scarlet-colored beast sat upon and ridden hard by such whorish builders.
It is the like-colored RASPBERRY of the devil in the face of Jesus as the true & only Christ of God!
2) The KOKKOS was also used as the 'grain' of a mustard seed.
So, the devil takes the faith of Jesus' blood in His people and transforms it into the Scarlet-colored loyalty of antichrist ministers.
The kernel of truth from the preaching of the cross is badly grown into the degenerate plant of men's church-building programs:
'Yet I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me?' (Jerem 2:21)
(Note: This organized beast of heavy burden is full of the great names of successful licensed ministers, which are so-loved by the Great & First Leader over them all (Does anyone know that Davis was there in his organization first?), but are blasphemous to God's example of ministerial service in the Person of His dear Son Jesus...)
An antichrist's organization of churches is full of the great names of famous ministers that are blasphemous to the Name above all names: Jesus. |

'The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.
The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.' (Nahum 2:3-4)
(Note: I'm gonna reach a little on this one. What? You thought I was reaching before? Nah, that's nothin. That stuff before was simple and straightforward. This next stuff... well, hold on for the ride and reach with me!)
It is the description of Babylon's army at the hand of the Lord invading the streets of Nineveh to sack it. There were so many, and they were so furious about their business, that they actually 'justled' or jostled one another to get at the Ninevites. Sort of like the ancient Babylonian version of the BLITZkrieg... (Hint, hint)
Jostle: SUMPLAGAS
1) Striking or dashing together.
They were not only running into each other and bouncing off of one another in the midst of their invasion of the Ninevite streets, but they were also so striking and dashing in their scarlet clothing and armour!
Ahem. So let the fun begin:
In the soulwinning blitz, they are all moved en mass to the streets and neighborhoods of America where the unbelieving and apostate Christians alike are in need of God's elite, military-oriented, and relentless invasionary forces, that are organized, sent, and commanded like administrative clock-work:
What a glorious display of all-conquering field operations commanded by their God-promoted generals and captains of the soulwinning war!
See them bump up against, run into, and otherwise jostle one another in their zeal to knock on more of them doors? Are they not strikingly outstanding and so dashing in their ministerial suits of armour?
They are indeed spiritually scarlet in color by their great self-sacrifices of super-enriched holinesses and personally-costly programs commanded by that great king and lion-like Lamb of Graham: Davis the Christ! Ariel the First! Kokkos the Great! (Ha!)
So, with the soulwinner's zeal by (prayer) Force of arms and hands and fists clenched for the knock, they shall show themselves harder than the heads of the Ninevite people, that God has given to Davis to cause all to come and to get in and to work and to build on the backs and the bones and the red-blooded surrender of others... or else! The Red blood of the rejectors and losers will flow!
Like Chariots of Davis-fire they are trained, organized, whipped, driven, and finally pushed to success by the captains and charioteers of his personally-made and glorious army! They seem like the torches of the very Word of God held forth, and they run like the lightnings of God's terrible punishment upon them that dare to say 'No'.
They blitz, they justle, they hustle, they shed blood, they divide, they conquer, they compete, they win over the souls of men and women, that Davis the Pastor and Babylonish Chairman of the Board might also win big one-more-time. They do it for The Great and Grim Gipper! (You don't want to meet HIM in his office and at his great & big board table: it gets bloodier still, and even more souls are wieghed in the balance of HIS own great hands... that knock-not, because he's long-been The Manager now!) |

The justling competition of the soulwinners driven on by their Pulpit Commanders (With their French Chateaus in the rear) are well-known for their zeal for souls. So much so as to clash with one another over who's contact is who's!
Like the Clash of the Titans, they shoot their thunderbolts not only at the enemies who say 'NO', but also they strike at one another in their fights over who's church gets the soul added to their number's list of WIA's (Won In Action).
Like the over-powering gods of before, on the other side of the flood, they are wild in their zeal to win-over and conquer all enemies foreign and domestic. They dash, they clash, they run in their assigned lanes and streets in obedience to their Rich Babylonian Managers, but their channelled fires burst out also in flames against one another betimes.
2) AI SUMPLAGADES: The clashing or jostling rocks... which were supposed to close on all who sailed between them.
The Rocks that Davis built! The soulwinning rocks upon which he wins! His rock-heads made of cement that are made harder than the heads of men & women & children! They are the programmed rocks of Graham upon which you fall and break to your own faith for the sake of Davis' ministry, or else they fall upon you thrice for your own sake, so as to grind your will to powder.
All those who pass through their soulwinning waters, their local church pews, are dealt with in administrative order to get them in to stay and to not go away... ever! They tag-team them and bounce them off one to another. They rebuke them, challenge them, rub against them, give them the business. They shoot at them from afar in great clashing pulpits and up close in your face by lower lay-leaders to cause all to crumble and repent and submit and join and become one more of Davis' rocks of the high holiness seas!
But if any be as fast as Jason and as quick at the helm to sail on by without stopping for rest, then they can escape with only a graze or a scrape rather than an all-out scrap, or worse yet a complete loss of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in Christ Jesus and in this world.
Beware the justlers that would jostle you into their churches! They cry-out like rocks for Christ, but in the end they will clash you too and run you down under their chariot wheels of Davis' holiness fire! And if you are crushed betwixt their outreaching rocks by your own resistance to their power, then you were warned in their hardened and twisted way of doing God service (Matthew 21:44)(John 16:1-3). And furthermore, if not for them, you would not have even had your chance to join their holiest army of liberation and rescue, or else attack and destruction... |

I knew you were crazy back when you had all those books all over the place in your room! You sat there like some bible scholar and avoided staying over at the home and the fellowship! You tried to take over at Woodbrook and wreck Rev Bailey, and Pastor would not let you, so you joined up with Denis out of spite and pride and greed! and now you use the mind that God gave you for the devil instead of His glory. You need to repent! Pastor still loves you even now, because He is God's man, and so long as God lays a soul on His heart, then Pastor will pray for them and try to help them. But if Pastor asks God to take someone off his heart, because they can't be helped, then that's not God's or Pastor's fault!

The funny thing is that's not why I left! I departed a ministry and won't/can't go back to it with Davis, Denis, nor anyone else that does such things (As Vic's conscience says).
You can forgive a person of adultery, drunkenness, etc... if they confess to God, and even listen to them preach against such things, because it's so in God's Word.

Are you Therieau?? You know some things from way back (and are wrong). Have your millions made you Davis' buddy again? Called him lately? Seen him? Gone back to HIS church again? A real winner now? Sitting on the front pews? (Or at least the 2nd reserved for his favorites gold-ringers (!))
I did move into the home (as you must know) and I used to get out of work to fellowship and go soulwinning (which also was wrong!) I even went to Korea acoording to Davis' wish, when I could have gone to Ft Polk and closer to home. (THat's how loyally-loving I was. Now I only do such things for Jesus His way, and am now back HOME. Ha!)
And you've certainly bought the Davis-line, which is no surprise for a Davisisright kinda guy/girl such as yourself...
1) Denis as my overseer (Servicemen's Overseer) did NOT want me to go to Davis about Bailey. He had OTHER plans for him. I was completely on my own, especially after telling Davis about filthy Bailey, because Davis then ceased to 'love me' so much right away. Bailey was his golden-goose boy at the time, and he wanted to keep him there so long as he produced those guilded egggs, even if it meant cooking the Christian gooses n the process! (If filthy Bailey is your hero, then you are truly in a mess)
2) When I found out about Denis' split, I talked to him and told him he ought to go start his own church, and me and my wife would be glad to go join him. That was when he told me he had his own organization made out of the servicemen's preachers (Which he had been working on secretly for several years). None of such things I knew.
3) If I did it for greed, then why did I turn down Denis' effort to make me his Bible College teacher, which was another fast track to his personal support, just like I had with Davis (UNTIL I started cooking his golden goose that was burning God's people in Woodbrook, and IS AGAIN in Leesville... only worse! Believe me: It don't get better, and it won't, but only worse without full and open repentance or death, whichever comes first. (Did anyone know that Davis was there first? So he has to repent first!))
4) And so far as Davis loving and praying for me or any other: no way. As usual, Davis' lovers think more of Davis than he deserves, just as with ALL used mistresses(!)
"When people leave God's organization, I don't even give them a second thought!" Davis (In his latter years after he had ceased even trying to get people back in.)
And this is NOT because of any love for people, but because he has gotten his and set up things to keep his to the grave. So he don't NEED to try and get anyone back... for business' sake anymore!
So, Davisisright, you don't even know the Davis you're loving and serving so much. If you know him so well, ask him yourself. I haven't so much as seen him for years, and I know more about his ways than yourself.

Derrick is being castigated for using his mind, which is typical of the ntcc approach. Anyone who disagrees with Davis is of the devil, and anyone who has a REASON for disagreeing with Davis is TOO INTELLECTUAL, and anyone who has MORE THAN ONE REASON to disagree with Davis has TOO MUCH TIME on their hands.
On another thread, I used the word "charter", about which godisright has repeatedly complained, asking "Who talks like that?" At the same time, godisright claimed to know the meaning of the word. The same word indeed is also used for laboring in the Lord, and Paul exhorts us not to grow weary in well-doing.
HOWEVER:
The nature of false ministry, leadership, and cultism is to add to, change, or take away from the Scripture, in order to insert or intermix their own personal standards, commandments, services, and programs. Such false apostles wrest the Scriptures to their own destruction AND that of those who believe, obey, and follow them in their own word, as though it were the very Word of God.
In this manner, those who believe on Jesus as the Christ and would sincerely serve Him are effectively made to become the servants and pleasers of other men as Christs themselves, by recieving, living, and laboring under the false faith of another gospel than that which Paul preached according to the Scriptures.
So, while they yet be sincere seekers of Jesus Christ, they are not yet noble enough to ONLY hearken to that which is said in His Word, rather than also taking heed to men's doctrines, commandments, and other bewitching fables of their own minds! (Num 16:28,24:13)
So, in this context, those who preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ can transform themselves into modern-day Moses-types who wanna personally lead God's people through the wilderness of their own holiness sanctification to the Promised Land of their own Church-Building success. They falsely lead a nationalized church that Jesus NEVER built, but rather is cultishly formed, shaped, and used by the power of their own wills from the prince of the air, rather than by the Prince of Peace! They do so decieving their own selves as well as the hearts of others.
Cultism is the devilish art of turning those who preach the cross into enemies thereof. They which preach the faith they proceed to destroy!
Jesus Himself does indeed deliver from the bondage of 'Egypt' and parts the red sea of worldly sins & transgressions by His cross & staff, but then these great builders of churches IMMEDIATELY take over the reigns of Christian headship and church government by proselytizing and recruiting the unlearned believers into their own personally organized success-driven ministries.
Indeed the Christian by prayer and ministry of the Word will NOT grow weary in the well-doing of Jesus' easy labors, but ANY amount of men's labors and commandments are both wearisome and heavy, because they are practised by the decieved and blinded faith of false leaders, rather than done by Jesus' faith. Thus the Lord's Spirit does not help, and they vainly labor as in a church-bag with holes in it! Beware of them that compare! They are not good for your soul but are after your soul for their own good! (2 Cor 10:12)
Jesus Christians do not dare to make themselves of that special number of people, who are after more numbers like themselves!
Such dominating & all-conquering ministers come at their own to compare them with themselves, and you are ALWAYS coming up short! You are always the loser in the exchange, the feeble one and weak, the less holy & right, the slothful & lazy, the one in need of getting better and doing more for the sake of the Minister's success!
By making comparisons to one another, we make ourselves in opposition to one another!
Comparison preachers (whether of holinessess, church services, moves of the Spirit, or success of the business) are competitive preachers: preachers of contention and strife, not of love and life!
While they present themselves as ministers of Christ, challenging you to compare yourself to Jesus' holiness and zeal for service, they are in fact comparing you to themselves and their own standard of holiness and manner of service!
Even as Isaiah abased himself before the Holy God when met with Him, so they desire that all others abase themselves before the holiness minister when 'met' with him!
And so the whole comparison device of the devil's merciless mercenaries is an Amalekitish trick and snare to prey upon the weak of heart, feeble of knees, and tired of life: they are just ready to submit to someone, and so they are seduced into submitting to the preacher in comparisons to himself and his own really great & special walk with God!
While they tirelessly speak of the people quaking in their non-holiness sins at the presence of the all-holiness preacher, the only Scriptural record of meetings between the believers and Jesus' apostles is that of HEALING and glad fellowship and exhortation that builds up, not forced comparisons that tear down!
Indeed, we are not even exhorted by Scripture to compare ourselves with Jesus at all, because there is no contest at all between Himself and His own, yet there is plenty of contest and opposition and comparison made between the Amalekitish Builder and his own!
We are not to compare ourselves with Jesus nor with one another, but we are to look to Jesus, hold to HIS Head, and love, exhort, and admonish one another in HIS faith according to what is written in HIS Word.
In this way we compare spiritual things with spiritual (1 Cor 2:13), but we do not even begin to compare ourselves with one another, nor even with Jesus, because there is no comparison with Him, because there is no such comparison to make, for they which are IN Christ, are of Christ, and all of us are His, and all of His are ours! Edom was of Esau who despised his birthright, and so despised the charge for the people of the family of Jacob. He was also a sorry repenter who only hated to lose something, because he did something wrong (Heb 12:16-17). He hated the cost of crime, not the evil thereof. If he could get away with it, fine. And his offspring were the same, and they were known as great builders, but such houses on false foundations would not stand. They had a lot of 'sand' and force and zeal, but no faith, no love, no charity, no righteousness of God. |

Thus their evangelical militancy is against the world AND the rest of the body of Christ, which is in turn seen as a threat to their borders even as the world. Indeed they are the special-forces camp outside the city of the world AND of God!
2) Especially a land-mark: monument stones bearing inscriptions of ownership.
Whosoever's writing is on the stone, that is the owner thereof.
The difference between Jesus building His church of His lively stones and other builders recruiting members away from the rest of the body is: The Inscriptions.
What is being inscribed on the peoples' hearts is by what is being preached, whether it is God's Word and writing or man's additions and subtractions.(2 Cor 3:3)
Who's monuments stones are we, and who are we a testimony of? If any other gospel than that which is already preached according to that which is already written (Gal 1:8)(1 Cor 3:10-11,15:1-4), then it is another one writing and laying another foundation other than the apostles' doctrine in our hearts, and so our hearts are changed from that of Jesus' only to that of a stranger's land-marks and monument stones. |

The fleshy tables of the believer's heart are written with the law of God's New Covenant in Christ Jesus. (Heb 8:10,10:15)
This Word and rule of Christ is also written with paper and ink in the Scriptures of the Bible. If therefore ANYTHING OTHER than what is already written in the Book is preached and ministered to us, then another man's writing is recieved into the hearts by a decieved faith, and another kind of covenant is made with another kind of Christ and Mediator than the man Christ Jesus.
And so we become debtors to a new master, a false teacher, a bad minister, a wicked Edomite who's church-building-doctrine is drawn in our hearts, and we become the border of his organized kingdom.
Even as the Scriptures are wrested in false doctrine, so is the writing of our hearts rewritten to make us meet for the new master's use!
Such Edomite builders see people as the heritage of a birthright of ministry, that God does not give. The souls 'won' to their churches and 'gotten in' for God are not just the fruits of their labors, but are their fruits of success, hanging on their own branches. And as such, the people owe them a debt of gratitude and pay as working off the mortgage of the preacher's price.
They become the coin of the builder's realm, the money that makes money as the original investment of time and 'hard' work in their business-type programs.
They pervert the common debt of Christians to Jesus Christ for His one true sacrifice in blood on the cross. By the 110% consecration of the preacher's personal sacrifice in blood, sweat, and tears, he also demands a back-payment of debt from them that believe. This is an unusual translation that leads to an expanded teaching about the doctrine, ministry, and coming of God.
1) Expectation, what is looked for, things as they are thought to be, or as it seems they ought be...
Therefore the doctrine of God comes, or is to be expected i.e. drops on us as the rain, which falls upon all things directly down: it does not come down as a streaming outpour: it is not channelled through a single outlet to the land.
I.e. The ministry of Christ is by a free-speaking assembly, where all may prophecy, and thus all may be edified, and all the more increase of God may be given thereby! (1 Cor 14:26-31) |

'Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?' (Matthew 11:2-3) (Prosdokasaw)
Why then did John the Baptist (who saw the Spirit descend upon Jesus as the Lamb of God) doubt that indeed He was the Messiah prophesied to come. Why was he willing to look for another?
Because even John, as with other Leaders of his day and today, are affected by a false EXPECTATION (i.e. unbiblical) of just what the Messianic ministry of God ought look like as it seemed to them.
John the Baptist could be a 'bit' confused or even offended by the fact that he was off in jail, and yet Jesus was STILL going on ministering freely (v 4-6), and EVEN choosing others for His apostles (v 1).
After all, how could Christ possibly minister to others, WITHOUT the man of God there to do it for Him?? (!!)
This EXPECTATION of the ministry and blessing of Messiah cometh not of Him that sent Him, but rather of them that look to centralize Him around their own pulpits and persons!

Thus is the false EXPECTATION of Christ's ministry to be through or ONLY by the great Pastor that God has 'assigned' His people to. Whereby the doctrine and Spirit of God rain down not freely but rather is to be streamed or channeled by consent and permission of the church 'Leader'!
When the miinistry is centralized around one speaker, then the faith is dominated by the same, and the doctrine of Christ no more rains down, but rather the indoctrination of man is channeled. |

Thus, the minister MUST decrease to that of a simple voice speaking the Word of God as it IS written (NOT as it seems it ought be), so that Jesus MUST increase as a the rain dropping freely upon all.
The sheep thirst but are not freely filled, because the doctrine and rule of Christ would be channeled through the leaders as lords rather than rained down from the Lord Himself!
John (and other good but flawed ministers of Christ) indeed can be excused for his slight error of vision and expectation of the Messiah's ministry, seeing he was imprisoned for the faith while the Day of the Messiah seemed to be passing him by.
But there are those who look for a ministry of their own, where they think themselves First-Before-The-Throne to First recieve Messianic and Apostolic ministries, anointings, doctrines and commandments, which they then in turn pass on to them who come after to drink and eat from HIM that was there First, as birds from the throat of their organizational mother on earth! (Rev 17:5)
These be they that MAKE A BUSINESS AND LIFE out of not letting ANY doctrine of Christ rain down without their say-so and permission, no not so much as a drop, whose end is the same destruction (Phillip 3:17-19) as them that killed the Lord of glory at the first, for their OWN ministerial & national rule.
For indeed they do crucify the Lord afresh from within His own kingdom for the sake of their preaching dominion, thus limiting and even cutting-off the blessings of God by transgressions, and working AGAINST His own people's welfare in the name of fighting FOR His ministry and gospel that MUST be looked for and expected ONLY through themselves, if it is to be counted as any good for others to follow!
Instead of the doctrine of Christ dropping like rain at the speaking of His Word, the doctrine of a Co-Christ is dropped like a bombshell from the mind of His First Pastor and Leader on earth, who has such an EXPECTATION of command and control over his flock of God, that he LOOKS FOR a listening silence and dread that would hear his every word, even if it were as a pin dropping to the great church-builder's floor.
