Hello dear JW message board community! It is time to start nominating people to join the Council of the Wise for this particular board. If you are not sure what I am talking about, please visit the thread entitled, "Special Pilot: Peer-To-Peer Healing, Recovery, and Support" We are launching a brand new program on Factnet and the JW message board is going to be the site of the pilot program! We are seeking individuals to take on the responsibilities outlined in the post referenced above. Both those that are willing step forward and volunteer for this position and those that are nominated by other board members will be considered. I look forward to working with you all to make this message board an oasis for those seeking information, support, recovery, and healing. I am not actively moderating at this point. I sign on ever few days and see what's new. About the nominations. This is a special honor and I will say some more about later today. No donation is necessary. No, I do not think everyone is stupid, what gave you that impression? I am not an atheist. But I'm not a theist either. More of deist . . . I believe there is a divine presence in this Universe and that connecting to it is important. I strive to honor all points of view and belief and allow people space to think and believe as they wish. My only concern is when people are coerced, robbed of their own freedom to think for themselves, or otherwise harmed. We are starting a new era at Factnet, one of nurturing peer-to-peer support. Factnet is about both inoculation through information and education, and healing through peer-to-peer contact. I will say some more about this later today. Crawly, No, that is not what that means at all. I sincerely would like you to be able to start new threads. As far I know there is no reason you shouldn't be able to start new threads. I have contacted the board administrator. I will follow up with him. In the meantime, try starting a new thread and let me know if you still have a problem. Warmly, Maria Bee | ||
