Is there any list or directory of current members of the church? I have family that have been in the church for years. Some family has been born into the church. I worry about them. | ||

Dear xfactx, Sorry, we don't have a list or a directory. But you can email whistleblower (found on the www.indianapoliscult.com website contact information) and he can forward your email out to those whom can be trusted to keep your anonymity. We here are just a bunch of people that have been abused, manipulated, and controlled by Mike Peters at some point and understand the mind control tactics that are involved OR we know those who have been so treated. Some of us know each other, and others we have not met personally, we know through those we have. Some are just here because they need support. xfactx, I don't know if you still read this site or not, but keep praying. There are many of us with family or friends there that we all pray for their deliverance. Our family has been there 15 years and all of their children know nothing else but this place. No other children but these. No adults but these. They cannot function in the world right now. They can't go to college (they can on-line I guess). Just keep praying! | ||

boy, didn't this sound familiar? I can see the almost EXACT sequence of events that my family members went through. I've seen the exact same things happen and heard the exact same things said. This is so sad. Thanks for sharing and maybe stopping someone from falling into this religious cult trap. | ||

cult_fighter, isn't that the truth!!! My family didn't come from that school and didn't get there until a couple years later. But the story is the SAME! How horrid! I am SO THANKFUL when I read about people that God delivers from there though! It continues to give me hope!! | ||

another thing I find horrible is that some of the new "converts" are on the SAME path as those from the 80's and early 90's. It seems there should be some way to warn people. To let these new people talk to those who have suffered the consequences of believing the lies of the CII. I find the fear that lingers after many years wrong. What is done to people there is wrong. I never even was part of this place but I was fearful that some kind of retribution would be lashed out on my family members when I started posting on this. Where is Jesus in that? Where is Jesus in graveling at the feet of a man, hoping to be counted worthy enough to stay in the man man idol because the fear of being thrown out into the "world" would be too devastating. I KNOW my family members love Jesus. I KNOW that. But they have also been fed lies and under a little bit of truth and scripture, been manipulated to a cult standard of life. Grace does not exist there, but GOD IS the source of grace and peace and hope and joy. HE made those things and they ARE the fruit of HIS Holy Spirit. I do not see any freedom in Christ in CII, I see bondage tied up with ribbons with an aroma of life in Christ which holds the people there. Life in the Spirit does mean the Holy Spirit will reveal sin in our lives which results in owning that sin and repenting of it which leads to JOY. Not graveling at God's feet either. He produces the joy. Which leads to life in the Spirit, opportunities to minister to other people which mean dying to self which leads to JOY. Not fear. |
