No surprise though since God works in very interesting ways and He speaks to us through metaphors.

We are to be “one” body in Christ.

A definition of the word marry is:

"to unite in close and usually permanent relation"

I would expect as a member of Christ's church we all have this unity with the man.

we are not married to each other lady!!! Jesus is the Husband the church is the Bride in typification.

we are not married to carman. sick. being one in Christ is not that kind of union, uh that would be incest.
we are brothers and sisters in and through Him.
brothers and sisters dispute and challenge and rebuff and even fight sometimes but still love at the foundation.

we aren't called to be religious, but definitely holy and seperate from the World. in it, impacting it, but not of it.

where or where does all of this new age stuff come in from?

marabell do you mean to say "think instead of thank? also you really need a much better definition of the word marry.

look to the jewish history and texts because that is where it originates and is based in covenant. and some other things that reflect God's relationship to mankind through salvation.

we expect a lot of things.

but have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, rather reprove them.
