Do you think that HH authority practices are out of line when compared to other fundamentalist, bible-belt, pentecostal churches? |

When members truly fear the elders and the elders fear HW and BA, when members hide things from each other, when members run to tell on other members.....yes the authority practices are way out of line. There are other Pentecostal groups that practice this hard line authority but they also are out of the will of God. Most leaders in this church have children that, once old enough to make rational decisions, run away from this church because of the abuse. Many return to visit and keep a connection open but they will not subject themselves or their husband/wife and kids to the abuse they know is on the inside. |

How does this family division play out with the shunning practices? Do parents shun their own children, their own spouses? What about weddings, births, deaths? How do families stay families when some leave? asoy |
