To all and sundry, who believe or not, who are in or out, who hate or love; to those who remember through the decades how we spent the years we were together--who you are now for good or evil was partly formed in those days. We can use the memories of those times for our good and for the good of others. Perhaps you will hear the voices of children at play singing:

"Tolle, legge! Tolle, legge!"

So the clock is now ADDING time rather than subtracting?

Kinda like the day after the rapture was supposed to happen.

After a bit of searching the site, I found this:

Great News for all Factnet Discussion Board users! We Did It!!!!
Yesterday, July 04, 2007, 11:52:34 PM | David Pike

It looks like we made it or we are so close the needed $6,000 in donations we can now upgrade the discussion board software, our website security and keep the discussion forums open. We still are waiting for some of the pledge moneys to come in and the last of the snail mail to be tabulated tomorrow, but we are so close we might as well call it a successful donation drive right now.

Thanks to everyone who donated! Look for your thank you letter or thank you email soon.

For those of you who wanted to help but couldn’t because of finances thank you for your good intentions and letters of support. For those of you who have not donated yet, please do so today and help move us to a more viable place for the future financial health of Factnet. (See how to donate at the end of this posting.)

What is next?

Before we implement the new discussion forum upgrades we are going to post what we are going to do and use in software so if anyone has comments they can give us their opinions. For posters only, we still may have to set up a very small annual fee ($6-19 per year) for using the discussion board forums to sustain the organization (lurkers can still lurk for free.) This is because we did not reach the $12,000 amount really needed to sustain the organization longer than the next 3 months.

But, do not worry. We will wave any board fees for anyone truly unable to pay who needs to be posting on the boards. I came out of a cult so broke I had to live with my parents support for almost a year. I and Factnet will always be sensitive to real financial need.

Thanks again from Factnet and all our staff for everyone’s donation support!

Sincerely,

Lawrence Wollersheim

Factnet Director IMHO

PS If you have not sent us a tax deductible donation and you want to help keep the discussion boards open and the site growing donate by clicking the “Make a $ Donation” link in the left column on most Factnet pages, or click HERE! Or, send us a donation check at Factnet, PO Box 1315 , Ignacio, CO. 81137, and please do it now!

what total BS. Even my friends family who served on the board thinks so.

You know when factnet came down one night I offered to help place factnet on a server with a donation of a server set on an OC30 backbone with dual processors and I know of another guy who offered some good mysql work. I mean of the best in the country. he got no responses. They didn't even call him to hear his offer.

In about 4 months after it went down they did start blocking proxy server ip's. but the other security??? the back doors into factnet discussion board. Geez.....

For $200-400 a month you can rent a server that kicks butt and is redundent as heck. The best forum software comes in around $1000 built around security feature support. you could put 2 redundent servers up for $400 amonth and put up a forum for $2000 and still it would be unreal compared to this.

i think they want to move everything, and use the forum they have now. Its like IBM sticking with OS2 when the whole world was buying into windows. Difference is OS2 was pretty nice.

Like BonnieScott was suggesting, is there somewhere we can send donations to take certain elements of this board off the air anyway?

LOL....dig deep, D2....american money only please

Personally, I always suspected the whole "board closing countdown" was a big bluff, and was not surprised at all when it did not close

Get in line Jim!

I have been recruited by CHS, Factnet, and the Bakkers. I am sure Pastor R will help out. God Bless you wherever you are Sir!

I'll take Euro's, Mexican, Canadian and anything else for that matter as long as it will fit into a wheel barrow (dammit S.E.R. where are you man when I need you!?) O now Ladies and Gentlemen things are going awesome for the new Chapel but we got to raise about $15,000 tonight, so when I come around throw in your change, $100 bills whatever you can. If we don't get it, than Pastor love will have to tell more jokes, work 3 side jobs, and loose his license to preach to the NBA knicks. Jim will have to get a real job, Tammy and Jimmy will be forced to recruit their children into ministry and they will have to learn new ministry dynamics. We will have to send the body of Jerry Falwell down the Heritage Waterslide in efforts to secure Candian Monies, And Neil will be forced back into ministry (Please Lord no!).And worst of all Pastah will be forced to accept money for his speaking engagments at Taylor Made and we know he does not want to do something amoral like that. We know he never took a salary as long he has been in Balmer!

Please send all monies to:

GGWO New Chapel Fund/FactNet Discussion Board Security/Heritage USA Fund Raising aka Jim Bakker hush money.
C/O Dancer
Canton, Michigan

Anything left over I will be glad to send to Hadasa's "get a freakin grip therapy fund". And no it is not a NPO, but it may help (hum)mankind!

Congratulations!!!!

Sarah sings beautifully, but she is all the time harrassing the male singer who looks like "Oh, I have a job to be done, I'll get payed, so I will tolerate that b...h tnagling my beard, oh how discusting!!!

That is the way GGWO operates today, they get payed and that is why they tolerate being "touched" in spite they think they are the anointed and elected body of Jesus.

Tommy said to me 1977: "You will NEVER GET PEACE! Hello!"

So let us join the party!
