I do not believe that Factnet will close down its forum for one second. But if it did there would be something to replace in about, well there is already things to replace it. Having said that I had to do research in the last few days on several topics. That included Carl H. Stevens old diploma Mill, a book written about the efforts in Southeast Baltimore by friends, myself and others. The involvement of GGWO in the community, and other similar things. The connections between leadership I was involved with and how it was misused is scary. It is staggering how good Google works and how bad it works at times. Factnet does have a terrible posting system. I have said this since its early days. Its not a matter of insults. But rather a matter of moving its historical (arch.) data into a new forum database. I don't think it can be done without extreme expense. Hacking, attacking, and even outright service interuption is real problem for Factnet. I would not want to be their administrator. I am trying to make notes on this thread that will as a result of bots place other web sites on search engines for historical data. Please help do the same. Neil (Dancer) |
