Let me add also that if factnet closes down there will probably be a way to archive the many things said here. Which means that the link to factnet should be maintained. However, if this isn't possible, and if factnet is not going to provide at least an archive to these threads down the road, then the Nest and the EN thread should be copied, and preserved. They should be backed-up by someone who has the ability to do this. Later make it part if Wiki. Also, time is short, if this is going to be done it needs done soon! |

It is easy for anyone, even a person with only minor computer ability, to save a webpage to their computer. For example, if you wanted to save a copy of this thread to your computer you would... (1) Go to the main Maranatha/MSI/EN page. (2) Hold your cursor over the title of the thread you want to save (in this case it would be the "Get'er done2" thread. (3) Right click on the thread title/link. (4) A list of options should pop up. (5) One of those options should be "Save target as" or "Save link as". (6) Click on that, and save to your computer. You will then have a copy of that webpage saved to your computer. Of course, it will only have the information that was on that webpage at the time you saved, so anything anyone posts after the time you saved will not appear in the copy you have. Does that make sense? Hope it was helpful. |

j2 your option is good, but you will ave to save every single page the way you described it. "my" programme loads the whole structure of the page/ forum down. i did load down the MSI/EN section now. its a 15GB big folder that i have on the harddrive, so i cannot offer to burn a DVD and send it to the ones who want it. its best you use the programme and grab the site yourselve... |

Yeah, my way you have to download every single page. So, that makes the program you linked to much easier. |

ulyankee, http://web.archive.org/web/20040611155350/www.factnet.org/discus/ Thank you for letting us know about www.archive.org. I had found Maranatha The Original Thread on www.archive.org http://web.archive.org/web/20040611155350/www.factnet.org/discus/ But I did not find other things like the History of Maranatha in Argentina. I pray that www.archive.org gets updated soon. |

on the first page of the programm you choose simply "continue". second page: give the project a name and specify a folder for saving the data (its called a "base path") tird page: choose "action" for what you want to do, ie "load down website" or "update existing website" and then add the URL of the factnet section for MSI/EN (http://www.factnet.org/discus/messages/3/8123.html?1176109759) 4rd site: timing options... thats all there is to do... |
