What is the meaning of smear?
Recently a part-time pentecostal preacher and full time police officer was indicted by the Grand Jury for taking kickbacks from drug dealers. He was also indicted for failing to report multiple felonies. Today, he showed up in court carrying a Bible. The officer was interviewed by a local news media reporter. The officer said his God would get him through this. Was his God there helping him break the law? Did God help him spend the ill-gotten money?
Why is it that every time a scumbag is busted, they immediately drag God into their filth? Does “getting” religion lessen the jury decision? |
