Re-Orientation.... ! That should be the catch phrase. I lobbed for BAN with the intention of changing its outlook when I become a lurd.... I did sail and ruggedly too..... Just new to the website, I was and am still impressed anent what I saw (comments) of too many different confra men made. Some ‘re kinda old in date but the information and or contributions are still useful. What the verse reasonable majority of the confra men were saying channeled into a high intensity of coming together and refraining from violence. Again, I tried to view all their respective website, they all have similarities in ideologies, scopes, backgrounds, objectives, and goals. They had or have focus in fighting injustice, oppression, intimidation, corruption, social menace and anti-moral behavior in school society in particular and the social society at large. However, I really haven’t seen any of these characteristic in any of them, or trying to do any kind of altruistic service any where which was one of their major reason of existence (forming the respective organization). All the problems each and every one of them had or encountered have always been for their selfish purpose. And this’ why they have respectively portray a bad image of themselves before the society nationwide and seen as cults in lieu of confraternity. I ‘m ain’t criticize any but making suggestions and or contributions for the amelioration of the sheer confra. Albeit, if all confra originated as result of intimidation and all the social vices mentioned above and others not mentioned, it is not suppose to be only in the school environs because I came to realize that most people shun it after they left school which I don’t have any onus on them may be because of the bad reputation it brings to members. Now in lieu of seeing confraternity as an organization, it ‘s seen as evil wall where evil is plotted and carried out. In a nut shell, what I’m trying to say is that the graduates of all confra should still have that altruistic spirit of protecting the rights of the downtrodden and the paupers. It doesn’t make any sense that you started a something and never finish it. Again, it would be a great deal if all the graduates of different confra should come together and stand like the United Organization (UN), that will be the control body of all confraternity. With this even if there are crises in the school(s), they are the body to off set any problem between confars and any one that wants to be stubborn, that one should be ready to fight the rest sheer confra. You might see it too difficult to bring different graduates of confra together but believe me as easy as, I know pretty much every confra got their graduates forum, talk your men there anent the idea and take your time and host delegated meeting from all other bodies. Many of the confra men all master degree holders and doctors of different fields and yet they still let people that were nothing when they were in school to have the upper hand in the society to use the their respective (confra) members especially during election to achieve their aim and after then discard them. How ‘bout you, you no longer wanna ameliorate the society any more? Remember some of “these members” (the current students) were talked into joining confra by you and now you think that it’s not good for you, in lieu of you trying to meliorate it, you are shying away from it. Who Is Gonna Make It Good Since It Can Not Be Eradicate From Schools Any More? It will do the school community a great deal if these graduates of confra should show interest in the activities of the confra in school by advising their respective members on their code of conduct (I have seen some and have the optimism that they are have the ambition),give them reorientation, let them know the implications of having fracas, the mayhem it does to the society. | ||
