Mr. Ezekiel_37 You asked me what is origin sin in another thread. I could not get the board to post an answer, so I will try again here. Adam’s sin (Genesis 3:1-6) was the yielding to temptation and then disobedience to God. Adam’s sin separated man and God. Adam’s sin is imputed to all mankind. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offense, so also is the free gift. For if through the offense of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses unto justification. For if by one man’s offense death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 5:12 - 21 (KJV) You may also want to compare 1 Corinthians 15:22 – 45. |

Hello Mr. Sandy, So, you are saying that I am being judged because of Adam's sin? I see things a little differently. I see that the fall of mankind happened before we were even mankind in the flesh. I see the fall before the flesh, and the flesh existence set up to give all a chance to get back in God's good graces. Redemption. Since we know that God's plan of Salvation has remained the same, and hasn't changed, God knew that Adam would fall, and sin...thus deserving death. We as people all sin, and therefore deserve death as well. Will we get sentenced, or shall we live forever? 1Cor15 (one of my favorite chapters), speaks of the two bodies, the earthly, and the heavenly. The flesh and the soul. Tells us why God cannot come here right now, and what happens when He gets here. Shortly after, a mystery is revealed about the gathering to Christ. Not all of us shall die, but those alive at the last trump, the trump of God, which is the 7th, shall be gathered back to Him. He shall have that other body spoken of in 1Cor15, and so shall all flesh be changed into that other body...at His arrival. If you can pinch yourself, and it hurts, He isn't here yet, rapture or not. Peace in Christ to you Sandy! c |
