satan has made a visious attack against our church. he has attacked it in many ways. for the past several months he hs made attempts to stop people from coming by saying different things about the sermons the pastor preaches, such as it is not a sin to do this or that when THE BIBLE plainly teaches that it is he is doing this to the weak ones who know very little about THE WORD OF GOD. a young girl who hasnt been taught very much has been in their company of one who comes against the church and the pastor. we need to pray much for this one |

Rather than a supernatural being spreading hate and discontent isn't it actually more likely that human beings are responsible? Perhaps someone who does not agree with your pastor's interpretation of the scriptures maybe? You think?

How terrible. A difference of opinon. The church cannot tolerate that for sure. It must be the devil because surely no real Christian would disagree with their pastor or church, they'd just go with the flow.
Yes, let's pray that another young person become a mindless robot of another cult. Oh for Pete's sake! Jesus wept! Get in lock step! |

Oh for G-d's sake, don't you people take any personal responsibility?
Maybe your church is too hot, maybe it's too cold, maybe your reverend puts people to sleep, maybe they disagree with his interpretations, maybe another church nearby has a new draw, maybe your god is telling people to stay away, maybe, maybe, maybe..
Why is the devil done it always the first response? Stating the devil did it amplifies the power you assign to your devil and decreases the power you assign to your god.

Exactly. There are a lot of valid reasons why people choose to stop attending a specific church. And I wouldn't call people not agreeing with the pastor a "visious attack" by the devil. Just shows how weak the church has become ... you know, there are Christians, even today, that have been killed for their beliefs .... THAT I would consider a vicious attack by the devil. |

who said any one ahd stopped coming> no the devil is doing these things. i know he is working in all places because he knows he only has a short time |

It is absolutely ridiculous that numerous xians blame thew devil for things which are purely down to human fraility.
Absolute fanaticism it is.
For goodness church.... get real....distinguish between what is down to the devil and what is not.
Trouble is xians follow the "in thing" like silly sheep....often not thinking things thru for themselves......manipulated by leaders/pastors perhaps into accepting any old thing....
I woul,d hoot with laughter were it not so serious.
I'm a born again Xian but escape such imbalance of thought and fortunately have kept my feet firmly on the ground and encouraged my family to do so too....

all SIN comes from satan. there are things that are just mistakes but sin come from satan himself. if a person makes a mistake that is different than out right sinning. but now all satan does is come against GODS people for he kknows he has halready lost the battle against them but he just wants to destroy their testimony so other wont come to THE LORD |

SHAWN: WOW....so peeps not coming to YOUR church is all of a sudden the workings of some spiritual entity? It's not humans just making a different choice than yours?
Okay okay let's accept this satan...so peeps not coming to YOUR particular church and possibly going elsewhere is satan's doing? How do you prove this? Can it be that it's not "God's" working b/c you folks are not preaching truth according to Xtian standards?

I don't think it should be surprising the horrible condition the world is in today simply by virtue of the prevalence of dualism ingrained into society by religion. The world and people have never fit into a black and white mold of 'good' and 'evil', there are an infinite number of shades of gray. Not taking that into account is crippling. It makes you try to fit the square peg of reality into the round hole of the dualistic thinking. It just doesn't work out because it masks the real-world problems with make-believe-world perceptions. |

Arron, there will always be problems within the church..and that is because humans attend there and they can't agree on things 100% of the time.
Your affilation and the church you attend has you feeling this way...I am by know means telling you it's wrong to feel like this-just know that not everyone is going to agree or understand...especially when it comes to the devil..most people have a harder time believeing in the devil than they do God.
It is funny when things go wrong usually people want to blame God but arron you have chosen to blame devil.. |

rachelengland yes satan is behind all evil. all evil comes from satan satan has never done anything good and never will. my church has nothing to do with this feeling i have for all the church feels the same way. i never blame GOD for things that happen but i do blame the devil if it is a bad thing.
this however is different as we have , along with others in the church have felt satan comeing against the church through some people who do not like the preaching of living a good life. they want to live as they choose and not be told anything about GOD or HIS WORD |
