Yoneq teaches that the Holy Sprit is male... He couldnt be more off... He fancies himself a scholar but is nothing but... http://www.equipministry.com/studies/hs.htm |

The Holy Spirit is not a human being per se, however, people can be inspired by the Holy Spirit and even indwelt thereby. |

The Christian triune god if true is so alien in nature as to be beyond the ability for a human to experience and is neither male nor female. Gender denotes a need for reproduction. Something that has always been and always will be would have no need for a reproductive capability. |

New member, ten year veteran of the TT Judah. responding. Yoneq's annointing teaches that the HS has both male and female characteristics best represented by the godly union of a man and wife. For convenience the HS is referred to as 'he' for convernience and to avoid the error of calling him an 'it.' Let's keep our criticisms accurate. |

Lots of times at teachings, weddings and breaking of bread from people like Racham and Andrew Lamb. '90 - 2000 How about yourself? Have you got a TT resume? Besides, if you want to blast away at the TT annointing there are lots of things to talk about besides minor points of doctrine. |

Maybe, Boston 90-96 then Providence and Hyannis/Boston. I had a hand in building both those Common Ground cafes from empty shells. I learned plumbing on the Goshen crew with Lo Nekar. He explained a lot to me too during those years. Both Andrew and Racham had moved out west a couple of years before I left. It's tough when friends move away. Single brothers used to do saunas in the Melville basement. A lot of good times. Good friends. Mostly why it's hard to leave. |

I just know he had built many of the cafes and trained many how to do the woodwork. He was the Capt. of the Avany briefly when I was on the ship. Thats when his wife passed away due to neglected breast cancer... Sad... Then she was judged worthy of the first death... HOGWASH!!! |

When I left I had a mass growing out from under my collarbone the size of a hen's egg, been there two years or more by then. After another year at a full time job I got health benefits and went to the doctor. It was Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was diagnosed right around eleven September 2001. I started chemotherapy the day George Harrison died. Thankfully I had the support of family and friends, a great team of doctors and my own place. I guess whatever spirit, holy or not, in the government didn't think getting me checked out wasn't a priority. If I'd stayed I might not be here by now. Much better off now. |

Yes, the Jews blind faith and total submission to their "God" and religion put a man to death for blaspheme! Are we all not "Sons of God" no matter what we believe??? Lets not forget all the "heretics" and infidels that were murdered for "Gods" sake!(ie the crusades, the inquisition, the thousands of martyrs, the Salem Witch Hunts, all the suicide bombers and their victims, 9/11, not to mention the 3,858 American GIs and the 80,000 plus civilians in Iraq) Ive got to say something here about the stupidity and idiocy that religion has brought about. Do you realize that all the aforementioned that were killed, the Jews, The Christians and the Muslims, were all killed for BELIEVING IN THE SAME GOD? THE GOD OF ABRAHAM??? HELLO??? WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! But I think that religions biggest crime committed on humanity is that most people caught up in it's fantasy never had a choice.(so dont go pointing fingers at the TT for this when it's done in every Synagogue, Church, Temple and Mosque around the world and in the homes of all their adherents) Ever since birth, religion is force fed to children for their entire lives. Most people, no matter what religion, are forced into it like some kind of bondage or slavery. Slavery of your ability to reason. Most cannot break out of this brainwashing. This is a cruel crime against humanity and her children since they will never get to experience the true joy, fear, and freedom from those shackles of the mind. If anyone "saves" our species it will be the Freethinkers of this world... http://www.nobeliefs.com/ http://www.ffrf.org/nontracts/freethinker.php |

I was always taught in the Tribes that God was a He, but that doesn't mean there aren't Teaching that includes a She aspect, but I am surprised. Jewish Rabbi's I've talked with have a simpler view of things, maybe more accurate, as well as Muslims. God is One, God is the Holy Spirit. None of this a big issue with me. But I can't see how calling God IT is a big disrespect. My guess is that God at the Highest or all-encompassing level/dimension is neither male nor female. The "Why won't God heal amputees?" is a challenging question. Lots to think about. |

Hi all- We were taught in the TT that God had all aspects of male and female, but was called "he" in our language(s) because of the paternal nature of Gods intrinsic qualities in relation to the "bride" (and also btw, to the earth I was told on occasion). Both entities were/are considered more intrisically "maternal" in nature for obvious reasons. We were taught specifically in teachings to call the hs "he" bc of that well, the hs simply being the spirit of God in its.... lessee.... unmanifest form other than it's physical-verbal manifestation in the "body". (But the primary focus of that teaching I think was to call the hs a "he" and not an "it".) The bride (a she) would be considered *one* w messiah, therefore able to speak under "headship" of the hs (a he). So everybody is actually right on this one- its just a connecting of the dots that makes it difficult for most to follow at times. just my 2c faye |
